It was based on Grace Kelly's wedding dress, according to the article I just skimmed, but GK's was rather less matronly.

She's a 30 something mother on her second marriage. This dress is far too virginal imo.

She is beautiful and would look good in a bin bag but this particular dress is not to my liking. Almost a little... frumpy

I don't like it.

It's frumpy and reminds me of the wedding dress in the sound of music!

The skirt is pretty but the top is utterly grim. A slightly more open neckline would have looked nicer and suited her better.

It's horrid IMO

But it's not my style at all, I don't do that sort of OTT elegance. I'm a fifties tea dress type of person.
