I'm 47, have combination skin but nothing too dry or too greasy, just getting older!

Have nearly finished my Liz Earle moisturiser (a gift)
Love the smell,of it and it's lightness, though it still does the job.

Any ideas?

I've been really impressed by the B range from Superdrug. They have different creams for different skin types and ages. I got day cream and night cream for about £5 a pot and am loving it. I'm not easily impressed by the way. Used to use Liz Earle and clarins but just too pricey.

bloodypassword · 11/07/2017 18:53

Ps I'm 48. Sensitive, aging skin Smile.

millifiori · 11/07/2017 19:02

Nivea Q10. Light, supple, smells good, works brilliantly, SPF 15.
Costs £5-10 depending on whether it's on offer or not,

millifiori · 11/07/2017 19:03

Oh, and I have sensitive aging skin too. I swear by it. If I don't use it my skin looks grey and feels tight.

CETAPHIL

x100000

can't recommend it enough. Haven't had another moisturiser in years.

greenlizard · 11/07/2017 19:26

E45 lotion in the daytime and I add a few drops of rosehip oil to a e45 lotion for overnight. I am 48 and have sensitive, combination skin. Really does the job!

SukiTheDog · 11/07/2017 19:36

Body Shop Vit E cream

BiscayTrafalgarFitzroy · 11/07/2017 19:38

Lush Celestial - it's amazing

Gwenhwyfar · 11/07/2017 19:47

I use L'Oreal Revitalift. I also use the Nivea Q10 day and night cream sometimes.

SpeckledyHen · 11/07/2017 19:54

Nivea Q10 is great and brilliant value - often on a deal for a fiver .

Puffpaw · 11/07/2017 20:05

La Roche posay hydraphase

thegamblersmrs · 11/07/2017 20:12

I use Liz Earle also, or sometimes aveda.
I've just bought Aldis caviar day cream, it's amazing. £6.99.

Superpretzel · 12/07/2017 07:46

Also a vote for Aldi caviar cream - I'm 41 combination skin and it's lovely and v cheap at 7 pounds a jar. Aldi also do a Q10 serum which I like - been very good and kind after all the sun exposure my poor skin has had recently

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/07/2017 07:48

The superdrug range that is a dupe for the Liz Earle stuff is great,in fact I prefer it. The moisturiser is great.

thegamblersmrs · 12/07/2017 07:56

What's the Superdrug one called? Will have to have a go!

IveGotBillsTheyreMultiplying · 12/07/2017 07:59

Aldi Caviar here too! They're selling it off for £9.99 for a gift pack with one jar or day and one of night plus two serum vials Smile

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 12/07/2017 08:07

The Aldi stuff is strong if you have sensitive skin.

Superdrug stuff is called Naturally Radiant, in green packaging.

BaconAndAvocado · 12/07/2017 21:46

Ohh I love Aldi! Will have a gander at the caviar range.

Also, like the sound of Nivea Q10 range. The smell,of Nivea is very nostalgic for me.

Avene is excellent.

bloodypassword · 13/07/2017 06:53

Thanks Maude for the Superdrug link. The cream I use is this one (the restored range, for 40-something skin) www.superdrug.com/Skin/Face/Day-Cream-Moisturisers/B-Restored-Day-Cream-50ml/p/470505

UserThenLotsOfNumbers · 13/07/2017 07:12

Olay beauty fluid is great

Tanaqui · 13/07/2017 07:25

Another vote for Nivea Q10- it is also silicone free which I like.

hippadoppaloppagorillapig · 13/07/2017 07:38

I love the Una Brennan rose range and have had LOreal revitalift recently and have been impressed by it.

FeiYenKansu · 13/07/2017 10:50

I'm 51. I spend a lot of money on beauty products whether they be the most expensive or the cheapest.

I've recently discovered a very inexpensive range at sr skincare. All product I've bought do far at great
