Has anyone tried Joanie Clothing?!

Need a practical swimming costume that isn't frumpy... and I think the bikini days are over

Swimming costume / skirt combo is just frump-tastic, I'm afraid. And more likely to draw attention to areas you're trying to hide.

Definitely would look frumpy I think. Is it to wear home or abroad?

This is proving difficult as I'm a 16/18 so a lot of brands are out of the question.

I like M&S secret slimming costumes. They're quite tight around the middle but I have felt very body confident in them this year. I'm a size 14 post children and my tummy is a definite problem area. It's like it has cellulite on it!

if you like that style go for it i think it's personal taste. Asos do a great range and lots of sizes if you do get stuck. Their delivery and returns are great too.

I second the m&s ones, I don't think they are uncomfy and lots of them have ruching across the tummy that's quite flattering.
Tbh I think any of the costumes with extra bits look more conspicuous and probably have the opposite effect to what you're after tbh.

It looks very 1940s!

Looking at the back view it seems to show a lot of arse and then the front is very covered so it looks a bit strange.

The M&S one is not as nice. That ruching thing fools nobody.

No they don't feel uncomfortable. I bought 2, will try and post links although I don't know how! The only thing I would say, once wet, they are quite tricky to get back up once you peel them down to go to the loo! Without being too graphic, I ended up just hoiking them to the side if I needed to go but you don't have that problem I'd they aren't wet
