I've just had secret Botox! Have told no one! Will I wake up frozen tomorrow?!

Literally am telling no one, just doing this for me, to look less grumpy and haggard.

No change yet! It's only been a few hours though!

Am slightly nervous about what I'll look like tomorrow!

Any advice?

OP, Will the Botox above your eyebrows have a lifting effect on your eyelids?

I’m dying to get something done but I don’t know where to start or what to get.

Arealhumanbeing · 14/10/2017 15:00

I used to be a judgemental earth Mother.

Then my breasts went shooting down to my waist and a nice looking bar code of lines appeared on my upper lip.

Then my eye liner started printing moon shapes on my brow bone. I was mystified until I realised my eyelids had also begun their descent.

So yeah. Fuck all of that!

I have botox regularly and yes, it lifts your eyelids.

FinallyThroughTheRoof I don't think having a furrow in your brow is particularly normal at 45. I'm 64 and only have very light lines on my brow. Unfortunately my neck doesn't match my face, I think I inherited good facial skin from my mother but don't know where my neck came from.

Any ideas on what to do with a scraggy crepey neck gratefully received.

arealhuman so did you get all those things sorted?

What did you do for your upper lip?

Just asking for a friend Wink Grin

rightknockered · 15/10/2017 12:15

I've been told I look tired three times last week, and 8 year old dd told me that when I'm busy I look very cross.
Am seriously considering it, but I'm 40's and wondering if I should just for go for filler.

rightknockered · 15/10/2017 12:18

How long does it take to wear off?

nigelsbigface · 16/10/2017 12:21

3 months to wear off

LaGattaNera · 16/10/2017 14:14

mine lasts longer than 3 months, around 5 I'd say. I have eyes done and it def lifts the brows - I have crows feet down and a bit above the brow and my elevens done - the 2 lines in between eyes - I have a fringe so do not have forehead done - sometimes if you have forehead done it can feel heavy but if I had no fringe I'd get it done there too.

A doctor does mine. I don't have loads and look fresher and less crinkly - no one has ever guessed although occasionally you might get a teeny bruise but often not and if I do, I put a bit of arnica on.

I find mine kicks in around day 4 and by day 14 I can see the full effect.

If you want it, then get it done - nothing really to do with anyone else, live & let live I say.

I had it done one and a half month ago and it's bloody amazing! No one guessed but guys and women at work have all commented that I look great/well rested/so fresh! One guy even told me that I have found the perfect shade of foundation. I haven't changed foundation of course. But compliments come pouring in iyswim. No One can tell unless they have had it done themselves.

clumsyduck · 16/10/2017 21:25

No one guesses when I have mine they just say I'm looking good etc etc . Love it !!

36plusandtrying · 16/10/2017 21:26

My DH never noticed the first time I had it done ! Just watch out for the head ache. Mine was awful a few days in !
