Is this dress too young for me?

I'm a (so I'm told ) young looking 40.

I showed a friend this dress and she said it's a bit mutton dressed as lamb.

I like it, dh says it looks great but now I'm a little paranoid.

Well I like it, and would wear it, and I'm 54. In fact I've bought something similar in a very lightweight denim with more ruffled sleeves for my hols. DH was shopping with me when I saw it, and when I came out of the changing room he announced that he thought I looked stunning - he might be biased of course LOL!

If you like it, and feel comfortable in it, then you go for it. I don't subscribe to this "age" thing.

Not at all too young. You're 40 not 90! Buy it.
