WHICH WEDDING DRESS?! Pics!!!

Help me MN!

My partner and I are getting married this weekend (!!!!!!) in his parents garden. We've been together 4 years but I'm now 13 weeks pregnant so want our family to be "official" and also I'm an EU citizen so a bit worried about Brexit. We only decided to get married about 8 weeks ago so it's very low-key, informal and intimate with around 20 guests.

Still don't know which dress to wear. Do I go for the gown option or the hippy option with which I'd wear a flower crown with. I love both styles and really don't know which to pick!

Please help me decide!!

purplesky that did make me smile... imagining OP in dress 2 but with the feet of a bear...

Dress 1 obvs OP. Congratulations and enjoy! Btw I only bought my dress 3 days before so you still do have time to look for another as far as I'm concerned... Grin

Hands down number one all the way. It/you look stunning and you only get married once, right :0) The second is not to my taste at all ( I actually thought you were joking at first)- The first dress you could still wear flowers etc and make it very soft looking. Honestly, that is one of the nicest dresses I have seen and with your figure it looks amazing!

catinbooties · 30/05/2017 18:02

The second one is awful just no

Congrats on the baby and the wedding OP 💐

Frazzled2207 · 30/05/2017 18:05

Golly number 2 not suitable for a wedding! Number one lovely.

Frazzled2207 · 30/05/2017 18:07

Off topic but how do you get to marry in a family garden? I thought you had to use a local authority approved venue, or get a new one licenced.
Congratulations anyway

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 30/05/2017 18:08

We did the legal bit first then garden service later.

weddingdressstress · 30/05/2017 19:00

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments! Smile

We are off to the registry office late morning for the legal bit then garden service/blessing.

You look stunning in dress 1.

silkpyjamasallday · 30/05/2017 23:04

I'm not keen on either OP. If you like the hippy flower crown look what about this
m.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/clothing-427/topshop-bride-6480280/cutwork-lace-bardot-bridal-dress-by-topshop-bridal-6487519?bi=1&ps=20&cat1=203984&cat2=3463703&productId=28134102

Next day delivery so you could get it in time, will skim any bump and would look perfect with a flower crown.

itsbetterthanabox · 30/05/2017 23:20

First one is lovely.
But for a more casual garden wedding with a hippie style how about this http://m.asos.com/asos/asos-bridal-embroidered-cami-mesh-maxi-dress/prd/6351696?iid=6351696&clr=White&cid=21606&pgesize=21&pge=0&totalstyles=21&gridsize=2&gridrow=10&gridcolumn=2

Mooey89 · 05/06/2017 15:58

Which dress didn't you wear OP?

Mooey89 · 05/06/2017 15:59

*DID!

weddingdressstress · 08/06/2017 18:35

Option 1 :)

OP posts:
loobylou10 · 08/06/2017 18:40

Thank goodness for that! Dress 1 was beautiful

Cococrumble · 08/06/2017 18:44

Ahh you looked beautiful in dress one! Good choice! Did you rock it with a flower crown?! Ooh I love a good wedding!

bumblebee61 · 08/06/2017 18:45

I this a joke? Are you seriously considering the second one to a WEDDING? Obviously no 1

rocketman3 · 08/06/2017 18:53

i don't think either is very shotgun garden wedding but dear god please never go out in 2 let alone for your wedding Shock

lorelairoryemily · 08/06/2017 19:23

The first one is fab, you can wear the second one to bed that nightGrin the first one looks stunning on you

neveradullmoment99 · 08/06/2017 20:44

The first dress.
The second dress - It looks like a slip or a piece of cloth made to look like a dress. Sorry its awful.

elephantoverthehill · 08/06/2017 22:22

Well chosen OP. I am sure you had a fantastic day and congratulations. To the last 3 posters on the thread, read the thread.

heateallthebuns · 08/06/2017 22:31

The gown!!! That's not a hippy option it's an underskirt.

heateallthebuns · 08/06/2017 22:34

Aha I see you're now married....pics?
