I have long been a fan.... wearing shoes with properly supportive and cushioned soles has changed my life....you should see my latest pair of sandals.. you'd throw me off th thread!

Cremolafoam · 26/05/2017 21:01

Tell me about the saltwater sandals. Any support or complement flat? Tempted.

Off for my weekly ridiculousfest #Versailles.Grin

Stropperella · 26/05/2017 21:06

Ditto, Marty. I have a splendid pair of metallic ballet flats which have been my goto summer workwear for the last 3 years. Much complimented and very un-Hotterish. Alrhough I may be kidding myself. Then again, do I care??
Ugh, turns out 2 pints of beer and some burnt sausages on top of a fluey virus and a crap day was a bad plan. Now shivering and waiting for bath to fill.

herbaceous · 26/05/2017 21:37

Loving the Hotter love.

These loafers could pass off as 'normal' in a dim light.

Frustrating sojourn awaiting DS coming out of choir. But while we were waiting we saw a muntjac fawn tear across the churchyard into the road, fall over as it did a u turn then race off up the road. It looked terrified. I hope it's ok...

herbaceous · 26/05/2017 21:41

Ooooooh silver and groovy

MrsKlugscheisser · 26/05/2017 22:56

Yes, yes, those shoes could pass off as normal, at night, without light and without moon...

magimedi · 27/05/2017 08:42

I find ecco comfier than hotter & nearly as fashionable. Grin

MsMartini · 27/05/2017 08:47

I have never found Eccos I like that fit, maybe I am between their sizes. Geox good too. I used to get knee and leg aches and don't anymore, so take the S and B hit Grin

motherinferior · 27/05/2017 08:52

I fear my Tevas aren't as kind to my left knee as I would like - I've never been one for Ladyshoes, I have to admit.

Slept badly so got up and bashed 60 lengths out of the pool. Must finish breakfast, shower and bash hell out of the Great Novel.

motherinferior · 27/05/2017 08:54

Btw friend who is a gcse examiner says DD1's mistake won't be nearly as disastrous as she thought.Smile

MsMartini · 27/05/2017 09:27

Phew, MI. And well done on seizing the day.

herbaceous · 27/05/2017 09:28

Now obsessed with Hotter. Am I mad, or are these quite nice?

motherinferior · 27/05/2017 09:42

They are quite nice.

Oh dear. All those years of Hotter-hatred...it's like Green Eggs and Ham!

I do not like those Hotter shoes
They're not the shoes that I would choose...

Sooz! I like those Hotter shoes!
I like them even off the booze!
And I would wear them on a boat
And I would wear them with a coat...

MsMartini · 27/05/2017 09:56

GrinGrin brilliant!

NoCureForLove · 27/05/2017 10:02

They are every bit as nice as Clarks' Hamble Oak brogues - and only £25... God, it's true we are Hotter converts. I used to wear Prada shoes... (when I earnt money and had no children).

NoCureForLove · 27/05/2017 10:04

There were some women of a certain age
They had a familiar adage
On our manicured trotters
We'd never wear Hotters
Oh wait - these ones aren't too fugly - in fact they're quite nice in beige.

motherinferior · 27/05/2017 10:21

Anyone prepared to check out the Chums catalogue?

MsMartini · 27/05/2017 10:22

GrinGrin.

The ones you linked to, Love, are as nice as the Clarks Glick Derby I wore this winter (good if on your feet all day, and as dd said, just a little bit scary, Mum).

Modestine · 27/05/2017 10:24

These Hotter poems are wonderful. Btw, I believe bottle feeding is better for babies, and Gina Ford is a fab guru who must be obeyed.

bigTillyMint · 27/05/2017 10:26

I would like it to be known that I am NOT a Hotter convert Grin

motherinferior · 27/05/2017 10:29

God, BTM, you're so S&B GrinGrin

bigTillyMint · 27/05/2017 10:32

Dreamqueen · 27/05/2017 10:40

I'm on a slippery slope. Bought mostly Clarks last year & now have my first pair of Hotter. Have also been ebaying all the (expensive) high heels that I'll never be able to stand up again. Broken little toe two years ago has to take all the blame.

NUFC69 · 27/05/2017 11:27

DH has departed to pick up DGS1 and DSiL to go to the Croft Motor Racing circuit for a day of loud noise and testosterone. DD and I are taking DGD to the shopping outlet at Royal Quays to buy her, yes, you've guessed it, sandals. And MI, two pairs of sandals is definitely not enough; I probably have at least a dozen pairs (probably because I wear only sandals in the summer: just boots in the winter). I have a theory about shoe sizing, by the way, which is that it's all the fault of Euro sizing. I know, for instance, that there is no equivalent to 7 and a half, which means that that I am stuffed.

Rosenspants · 27/05/2017 11:29

Grin Grin Grin I'm with BTM I'm afraid. But I am also a sucker for comfort. Geox...amazing, esp my recently purchased black glitter trainers. And my compromise as I have said are Pikolinos. they also do brogues and loafers

I am about to buy another pair of these but I like their heels too...really comfy.

And whilst we're on the subject of being persuaded into old bagdom....am I mad or is East dragging itself kicking and screaming into the improved S&B arena? I have never bought anything from there, it looked lovely on the hanger but sooo frumpy on me. However their summer dresses popped up on fb and I'm tempted
Will link whenhome shortly.

wAf come back to us soon, sweetie. I miss you xx
