How old is too old for this?

I think I'm struggling with my age and fashion choices these days. I feel like everything I like is "too young" for me. What age would you say is too old to wear this outfit?

It's short! I'm too old at 33 Imo

PaperdollCartoon · 30/04/2017 21:18

Depends on your figure and how it's styled, but maybe 35?

PaperdollCartoon · 30/04/2017 21:18

I really like it btw

Afreshstartplease · 30/04/2017 21:19

I'd wear it

I'm 29

Rioja123 · 30/04/2017 21:19

I think you need to have great legs to pull it off, not just about age.

dudsville · 30/04/2017 21:20

I'd it was called something other than a play suit then i'd day it depended on how it fit you. As it is it might as well be called a romper. It's cute by the way!

toffeeboffin · 30/04/2017 21:20

Yes, you need nice legs really.

tessiebear4 · 30/04/2017 21:21

YouMeddlingKids · 30/04/2017 21:24

23, with great legs

noitsnotme · 30/04/2017 21:24

I'm certainly shorter than her, so it's longer on me. I tried it on today, but at 34, almost 35, I felt like I was really pushing my luck. Though I wore something similar a year ago and felt good in it. God, I'm dreading turning 35. I feel like I'm only now properly getting into fashion and it's too late to wear it!

I'm 37 and I would wear it, I have loads of play suits and wear all the time in the summer, if you have the figure then go for it

youngestisapsycho · 30/04/2017 21:32

Definitely need the figure. My sister would wear it, she's 37 but looks 27 and has legs to die for!

LadyOfTheCanyon · 30/04/2017 21:36

You need good legs, smallish boobs and the attitude of "this old thing?" Or you will look awkward and uncomfortable. I am strongly of the opinion that there is no upper age limit on fashion, however if you think you 'can't' get away with something then your instincts are probably right.

herethereandeverywhere · 30/04/2017 21:36

I have something similar which I love and think is really flattering (DVF celeste). I'm 40. My legs are short but a decent shape. I would wear that considers ordering it

noitsnotme · 30/04/2017 21:36

I've been told I do have good legs, but I think they're starting to slip. Got a night out in a month that I liked this for. I'll maybe see how I feel about the legs by then Hmm

I'm 37 and I'd wear it if I wasn't too bloody fat just now.

MarklahMarklah · 30/04/2017 21:42

You're too old when you're dead! If it fits and you like it and it makes you look good, that's all that matters.

reuset · 30/04/2017 21:44

I agree about there being no upper age limits on fashion. However, I'm not a fan of playsuits except for younger children. Though, like anything, it depends how and where you're going to wear it. It could well be fine.

Ftumch · 30/04/2017 22:11

I'd wear it, I'm 31.

Fairylea · 30/04/2017 22:17

I don't think it's an age thing, more a shape thing. If you've got long slender legs I think any age could pretty much get away with it with the right accessories.

36plusandtrying · 30/04/2017 22:20

I'm 36 and I'd wear it !! I love shorts and short dresses - go for it 🙂

UppityHumpty · 01/05/2017 00:16

Depends on how short you are, size of your legs, and if you wear it with heels or not. Provided it covers any wobbly bits and you don't look like an idiot go for it

KindDogsTail · 01/05/2017 00:21

It partly would depend on the person and their figure. Someone naturally waif like would look all right for longer, but otherwise I'd say someone older than student age (say after 24 at the most) might be better off not wearing that.
