Just had a dark teal glitter gel polish for my birthday next week and am really happy with it

Haha thank you green! Enid that one was a present bought in France - I absolutely love it! Such a unique colour.

@EnidButton I like Sally Hansen Insta Dri and OPI Rapidry.
I never used to buy topcoat but I don't mind the cost of these when my nail varnishes are cheapos and get a longer run.

Thank you I like a topcoat to make it extra shiny and to freshen the colour up after a day or two. I'll check those out.

Mine are nail coloured. Polish is vetoed in my line of work.

Mine are light sorry with sparkly Orly Gel Fx atomic splash on ring fingers. I want something lighter for summer but not sure what as too pale doesn't suit my pale skin - love seeing everyone else's nails for inspiration!

Party by the Pool by Pretty Serious - one of my favourite brands.

I am having nail envy a all these pictures as i am having a shellac break at the moment. Mine are painted with a neutral strengthening polish right now.

I have bought a new dress to wear to a lunch in May which has hot pink and orange through it. I cannot wait to go get one of those colours on my nails. I am thinking orange would be fun for spring.

I change mine all the time.

At the moment they're silver (excuse raggedy cuticles). Not Shellac just regular Barry M. A few days ago they were mint green, again a Barry M.

For the people who do their own nails - how do you get it so neat? I just get it all over my fingers to the side of my nails and it looks terrible.

This thread has inspired me to paint my nails for the first time in ages. Sally Hansen 'Right said Red'.

Blueskyinmarch i find it difficult to paint my nails. Need lots of time and the brush makes a big difference. I find the brush in the Sally Hanson polishes easier than most. And a cotton wool bud soaked in nail varnish remover for tidy ups.

Blue and sparkly unfortunately I forgot I was having surgery so I'm down to 9 (pulse monitor doo-dah)

Just done mine. "Roof Terrace" by Maybelline, colour shock 60 seconds range. I also have "Bubblicious" from the same range and I've been really impressed with it. A genuine one coat, fast dry.

bluesky small angled eyebrow brush (clean!), dip it in nail varnish remover and then carefully go around the edges. Works amazingly well and the angle of the brush gives a perfect curve shape. I struggled for years to do my own nails until I learnt that trick.

And I like Essie polishes because they have a nice wide flat brush. I can actuall do my left hand without touching any skin when I use Essie. right hand is another story

New colour- had gel colour done, not sure what colour. I thought it would look good with a slight tan next week.
