www.farrow-ball.com/green-blue/paint-colours/farrow-ball/fcp-product/100084 My front door.

I love the Sudbury yellow.

What a lot of Farrow and Ballers!

motherinferior · 18/04/2017 14:36

Oh, it's that colour but in B&Q's finest.

BeachysSandyFlipflops · 18/04/2017 14:44

WAF, I've just done dd2's desk in that.....

Well in our house, dd2 who is in Year 7 is busy organising all ds's GCSE notes (two years worth of loose paper currently residing in a laundry basket!) Confused He is helping and they are playing LOUD music.....

May be too little too late, but it's a start!!!!!

hattymattie · 18/04/2017 14:51

I love the colour for the front door Crem. I usually feel that you can't go wrong with F&B although there are probably huge swathes of the middle classes with the same colour rooms. Somebody needs to breakout and do a lime green living room or something.

magimedi · 18/04/2017 15:47

Love the yellow - so cheery.

A big Flowers to MrsS. Have just sat down & made the list of all the meals we eat, in categories & without thinking too hard have come up with about 50 different meals. It is going to make my life so much easier.

Blackduck · 18/04/2017 16:07

News what news? I'm focusing on this - at least until tomorrow (one party state here we come....)

The Crepertoire - put on your peignoir and get into the boudoir
Lalsy · 18/04/2017 16:30

BD, that looks marvellous.

And yes to one-party. She got A50 through without a single amendment but even the debate was "undermining" - thought her statement was very 1984. Oh hell.

I will do category meal listing too, thank you NU.

Loving door colours.

bigTillyMint · 18/04/2017 16:42

Grin re door colours. My friend and I rated every door on a walk home once on whether the inhabitants were MC or not according to their front doors!

50 meals, MM?! Would you be so kind as to share your list?
And anyone else too!

Herbs, I was thinking of you on my way to work as I passed school-kids clutching their holiday homework modelsGrin How did today go?

bigTillyMint · 18/04/2017 16:43

BD, that looks so good!

NUFC69 · 18/04/2017 16:48

As someone who married in - cough - 1972, I had a surfeit of bright colours then. Our downstairs loo was painted orange, and the bathroom was aubergine. I got fed up with them very quickly. These days I like pale and interesting (aka boring, I suppose).

Lalsy (and MM), glad you like the meal category idea; just so easy now.

Had a lovely time at the park (which was packed), but got quite cross with some people who insisted on hogging certain pieces of equipment; didn't affect us but some poor mums stood for ages trying to get their little ones on the baby swings.

Still cold - I noticed that the hydrangea has been frosted overnight.

Cremolafoam · 18/04/2017 16:55

Ah bd, sigh looks perfect....

Laughing at front door classification game BTM . I do that too.Blush

Waf I have a similar colour on my doors ATM, funny enough. We also have 3 farm gates , a side gate, 3 shed doors and a garden gate to consider. My feeling is to do the whole lot in railings except for the front and back door ( which is the only one used) it is a half and half, so I can lean out and chat to the posty Grin and observe the goats.GrinGrin

Will run Babouche (lush imo) !
past dh GGG, and see what occurs. We have quite a bit of mustardy yeller in the house too, so might even go for India yellow f&b.
The trouble is annoyingly, I have to order it up as it's not available off the shelf here. What is everybody's considered opinion on matte or shiny?

Sodding election will cost the country money won't it? Meanwhile the NHS flounders and waiting times are now measured In aeons.

magimedi · 18/04/2017 17:02

BD - looks amazing.

BTM - I am happy to share the list when I've finished it - I have included lots of the bog standars, like roast chicken - it's not too exotic!

Cremolafoam · 18/04/2017 17:49

Oh I'm going to do it too and fasten to fridge.Smile

Cremolafoam · 18/04/2017 18:02

New thread anyone?

Cremolafoam · 18/04/2017 18:57

The Crepey Constituency
Proportional Crepresentation
?

Montypulciano · 18/04/2017 19:13

I like both of those, Crem.

Herbs, how did it go?

bigTillyMint · 18/04/2017 19:16

MM not too exotic would be perfect here ATM!

I vote for Proportional Crepresentation!

bigTillyMint · 18/04/2017 19:18

DD is distraught about the date for the GE because she won't be 18 in timeSad

BeachysSandyFlipflops · 18/04/2017 19:23

Dd scrapped into the last one by two days!

BeachysSandyFlipflops · 18/04/2017 19:24

'Scraped' even Grin

MrsSchadenfreude · 18/04/2017 19:36

Proportional Crepresentation.

DD1 will be on holiday. I have told her that she needs to sort out a proxy vote and I will put my cross in the correct box for her. Grin

I'm afraid all I could think of was the amount of work that this election generates for me.

MrsWobble3 · 18/04/2017 19:43

Dd3 is in the same boat as your dd BTM. She missed out by 3 weeks. Dh has promised to cast his vote as she directs - her immediate response was for the Monster Raving Loony party if they stand here. I did then point out that I wasn't sure that demonstrated the maturity for enfranchisement and got told off by everyone else for being boring. Such is the level of political debate and engagement in the wobble house - I hope they are either teasing me or going to grow up, including dh.

addle · 18/04/2017 19:45

Like BTM's DD, DS is angry and upset that he won't be old enough to vote.

What a mess.

Great front door conversation. Ours is peeling blue.

I've just booked for me and DH to go to a festival in Spain in July. however because the website was in Spanish and was over optimistic about translation into English, I'm not sure what I've booked. It's been a rubbish day off spent doing chores so that figures.

Herbs, have had fingers crossed for you today but am sure you haven't needed it.
