My first car was a parti-coloured Beetle that my brother had cobbled together done up out of scrap
The screen wash was a squeezy bottle. When it was full the water shot over the roof, when running low it trickled over the bonnet. If the engine cut out, you could sometimes start it by slamming the passenger door. My sister once ran it for several weeks days with no oil at all
. Good car for a beginner in Sheffield, though, you could do a perfect hill start in third
My health is distinctly average, thanks for asking. Still daily headaches, often waking me up, worse on effort including singing
. Blood pressure was sky high, pulse racing, both now slowly coming down with treatment. This is new for me; BP was normal at the beginning of February. Hoping it's all a reaction to medication I was given for sciatica (though that's looking less & less likely). Results of investigations trickling in.
I've given up racking my aching brian for a diagnosis & am just trying to get on with things. And have just had my first coffee for three (3, III) weeks, because sod it.
