I've been trying to grow my hair but yesterday got fed up and had about 2 inches cut off and more layering. I always end up regretting it.
What do you think? Honest opinions of which looks better (please excuse face obscuring, but hopefully you can get the general idea of face shape/ hair type etc etc).

I refer the longer version. A nice sharp bob might have looked great but that shorter cut neither one thing nor the other and looks a bit mumsy. Sorry.

desperatehousewife2 · 28/03/2017 15:40

You're really pretty so you don't need to worry either way but if pushed to choose I prefer the longer one.

TitaniasCloset · 28/03/2017 15:46

You look lovely op.

Have you thought about curling it, just for a different look? I'm thinking similar to JLo in her new police show or Myleene Klass at the moment with her roughly curled bob? I really want this look at the moment but I'm nervous of getting my hair cut shorter so that's why I mentioned it.

DaisyBlameless · 28/03/2017 16:01

Now I can see your face, I prefer shorter.

You look beautiful, show your face off as much as you can!

TearGas · 28/03/2017 16:19

I am Blushat all these kind remarks, I'm nothing special in RL - it must have been a very fortunate camera angle / trick of the light! Grin

I will have a go at curling it, I have a babylis curling wand, that could look good.

I know what pp mean about going shorter but this is the shortest I would go, I'd feel naked with any less hair!

Oh. Confused I didn't see the row of three photos when I commented, I just saw the two in the OP without your face in. Grin

Of the three, I'm still not bowled over with the shortest pageboy type one in the middle but I do think the far right one with the long textured layers really suits you.

TitaniasCloset · 28/03/2017 16:25

Aww! Yeah going shorter is scary.

TearGas · 28/03/2017 16:28

Hi French, thank you for commenting :)
The far right one is actually the same cut as the middle one but taken the following day so it's dropped out a bit so doesn't look as 'blow dried' or pageboy as the middle pic as that was just after leaving the salon!

Hair is really important to our self image don't feel daft about it!

If you don't want to go any shorter by all means don't but for those are unsure and sort of want to, just go for it! It's hair, it grows back, and you'll never know if you don't try

bigredboat · 28/03/2017 16:40

Now I've seen your face the shorter style is nicer imo.

BeingMePls · 28/03/2017 16:43

Absolutely beautiful. Hair is a gorgeous colour. My vote is for longer style x

user1471601171 · 28/03/2017 17:23

The shorter one looks lovely.

CountFosco · 28/03/2017 17:28

Looks much better shorter, less scraggy at the ends. Nice colour as well.

ChishandFips33 · 28/03/2017 18:04

I liked the long one at first but now prefer the last pic

You don't look your age!

BaliBound · 28/03/2017 18:10

Another who preferred the long pic before but now prefers the short. It looks so much better in the second pic, it really suits you. I love my hairdresser but always find they never quite style my hair exactly how I like it, its always super soft and swishy but it just never sits right for some reason Confused
