Pore shrinker, mumsnet recommends...?

Hi, I'm sure there was something a few weeks ago in one of the mumsnet emails about some kind of primer (I think) that was cheap and great for minimising/clearing pores especially on/around the nose? Have scrolled back on s&b but can't find the thread it came from, and seem to have deleted email. Anyone remember it? (or can recommend something cheapish and effective?) thanks!

Paula's choice 2% BHA maybe?

Vichy normaderm water lotion in green bottle. Magic all gone after 5 days of use. I now use once per week.
Clinique green bottle pore solutions hydrater to maintain the matte texture all day.

glycolic pads from nip and fab :)

Paula's Choice is better than Nip'n'Fab and Pixi Glow.

YouMeddlingKids · 18/03/2017 15:26

Thanks for your replies! None of these ring a bell, I think it more like a primer than a cleanser but maybe I'm wrong. I have the nip and fab pads but find them a bit harsh, maybe will just use on t-zone. Will have a Google of the other suggestions, thanks

Not the one in this link? The Paula's Choice is the only one that vaguely meets your description: www.mumsnet.com/swearsby

Neither a primer or a cleanser but I use Liz Earle Brightening Face mask once a week and find it really good for shrinking pores.

Neither...nor

Wasn't it maybelline's Baby Skin primer you read about on here?

Instead of the rather pricier, but good, porefessional from Benefit.

YouMeddlingKids · 18/03/2017 19:29

Oh thank you dulcie I'd totally misremembered most of the details but yes that's the one as I recognise the quotes 😀
Thanks best too I'll take a look at that one as well.

Youmeddlingkids it's not a primer but if you use an astringent like witch hazel (diluted or sparingly on cotton wool pad) that is supposed to help close pores and smooth skin. It's also available as a gel in boots. It's very inexpensive Smile
