Comfy, closed toe shoes that look stylish for summer? And is this a monstrosity?

I am looking for shoes or sandals with covered toes. I would really like a bit of elevation under the heel, as its more comfortable and a nice, thick, fashionable-ish padded sole.

The best I found so far was this, is it terrible and have you any better ideas?

They are wide fit, have a closed toe and are also good because you said you have thin heels so the lace up detail means they will stay on your feet. Good for work and occasion. Not sure about the beach though!

Palmairas look soooo nice, I wasn't even looking for summer shoes yet but now I want some! Can't decide between natural tan, neon pink or metallic!!
