I'm just curious really..

Haven't got a routine really at the moment, as I chop and change what products I use all the time! I'm interested to know how people cleanse/remove makeup in the evening and anything they've found to work really well (especially people who have sensitive/rosacea/eczema!). Do you use toners or oils?! There's so much out there!

Thanks! Smile

Wash face, brush teeth, bed.

TheShapeofYou · 07/03/2017 22:37

Oh, forgot, every Sunday night I double cleanse then use a Nip + Fab extreme glycolic pad, followed by their 4% glycolic serum. Monday mornings I use the face scrub.

shortsaint · 07/03/2017 22:54

Hot cloth cleanser - used to be Liz Earle, now Superdrug Vit E own brand as it's cheaper and has same results.

L'Oréal revitalift laser renew (lasts ages) on a cotton wool pad

Clinique Blue Orchid facial oil

Then If I can be bothered any old night cream on face and/or hand cream - depending on what ist next to the bed

Teeth

I have hyper sensitive skin with rosacea so I keep things simple and avoid rinsing with water so I use:

LRP Toleraine Dermo Cleanser
LRP Thermal Spring Water Spray
LRP Toleraine Ultra

Recently I've been trying LRP Rosaliac Intense Serum before moisturising but I am not yet seeing any benefit.

Gertiegoolash · 07/03/2017 22:57

Take off my makeup with boots cold cream and a hot flannel, make sure all traces are gone by wiping over with a damp cotton wool pad, apply eye gel (using one from aldi at the minute, does the job) then I rub a little bit of cold cream through my eyelashes (since I've been doing this they look longer and feel lovely) brush my teeth, bit of lip balm, that's it.

user1471495191 · 07/03/2017 23:00

Normally no make up so just teeth, pregnancy/bfing vitamins and bed.

Currently pregnant so teeth, vits, bump cream, bed.

If wearing make up, remove with body shop camomile make up remover, rinse face and bed.

NapQueen · 07/03/2017 23:01

No make up day to day for me, so bath or shower cleans my face. Teeth done. Into bed. Ive a tub if Nivea Creme (bluetub) next to the bed I think ive used 3 times in the last month?

On nights out (makeup) im to drunk to sort the face. Manage to whip up a hot water bottle though! Face gets cleaned morning after in the shower.

chatnanny · 07/03/2017 23:56

After leaving bathroom, swallow my prescription meds with water, turn on my electric half over-blanket (OH is too hot so only my side), thoroughly remove every scrap of make up with Simple wipe. Sometimes moisturise, have good skin. Look at phone (usually MN or FB and whatsap), have final pee, then back into bed and read Kindle as OH is by now snoring. If necessary insert ear plugs.

gillybeanz · 07/03/2017 23:58

I just go to bed, having been in pj's for a few hours.
Brew fag teeth bed.

Elemis omega cleansing oil to remove make up
Elemis Dynamic Resurfacing facial wash

Elemis Rehydrating Ginseng Toner

No 7 Perfect & Protect Intense Serum

Elemis Resurfacing Night Cream

L'occitane lip balm

2 nights of the week I switch the toner for Alpha H liquid gold

dailystuck71 · 08/03/2017 07:00

Currently

No 7 hot cleanser
Nip + fab pads and then serum
Liz Earle moisturiser
Decleor oil
Teeth
Hand cream

mowglik · 08/03/2017 08:18

Usually take off eyeliner with garnier micellar water. Then:
oil cleanse with DHC Cleansing oil
Second cleanse with tosowoong enzyme powder cleanser
Mix up a couple of toners and do a couple of layers with this - currently cosrx galactomyces and cezanne high moist
Joseon dynasty cream with one drop of argan oil mixed in

My skincare bits are mostly Japanese/Korean now, I've stopped using actives apart from Superdrug glycolic renewal and skins never been better. I am thinking to reintroduce skinceuticals retinol though just for long term prevention.

Saggingninja · 08/03/2017 12:46

I double cleanse at night.

Mix of coconut/almond and caster oil. Clean off with hot washcloth.

Liz Earle cleanser or Superdrug balm. Clean that off with hot washcloth, splash with cool water.

Coconut oil or night cream.

Skin looks very good.

JaneJeffer · 08/03/2017 12:53

Remus Grin mine is very similar with the addition of cry at hairiness...

nuggles · 08/03/2017 13:21

Currently suffering with dry eczema prone skin so:
Shower: aveeno body wash
Face: simple moisturising wash
Brush teeth
Bodyshop vit e eye cream
Either coconut oil or bodyshop oils of life cream.

Works wonders for me 👌🏼

WhatIsWrongWithMePlease · 08/03/2017 13:27

Garnier Micellar water to take off makeup
No7 hot cloth cleanser
Nip and fab pads
No7 eye cream
No7 night cream

MrsBungle · 08/03/2017 13:33

I have super oily skin but no spots. I use a face wipe to get rid of the make up then Clinique all about eyes eye cream. That's it usually. Any sort of moisturiser for more than a night or two and I get spots.

OmaDesala · 08/03/2017 15:50

If I have had make up on, I use a hot cloth cleanser and clean off with a flannel. Twice. If no make up, I just use a facial wipe. Clean teeth. bed. I never used moisturiser at night, it gets all over the pillows, I dont know how other people manage it but I lie on my front face so it gets everywhere. I sometimes use Simple cream in the morning.

Tangfastics · 08/03/2017 17:01

Did you get your answer OP?

Your question was a bit vague to start with to be honest. But then you just let loads of people wade in with no advice whatsoever.

Then you can't be arsed to reply.

Twattery of the highest order.

RemusLupinsChristmasMovie · 08/03/2017 17:47

Jane - had to remove a moustache at the weekend, for the first time in my life. Oh the joy.

sunshineglitterprincess · 08/03/2017 19:14

Remove eye make up with no7 eye make up remover.
Liz Earle cleanse and polish
Nip & fab glycolic acid extreme night pads
No7 protect and perfect serum
Then either a sheet mask or nip+fab mask (either dragons blood or bee sting)
Sleep 😴

CremeEggThief · 08/03/2017 19:17

Go to the loo, wash my hands and brush my teeth, but not if I'm going to have a hot chocolate in bed. I don't think I've ever washed my face at night, but I don't wear make-up usually.

Eolian · 08/03/2017 19:21

Cleansing lotion (e.g. Nivea dark blue bottle), rinse off with warm water. Moisturiser (Aldi Lacura or some such). That's it.
