Lipstick Junkies, It's Springtime!

I got a bit behind on the last thread because of work and being ill and getting distracted by stuff. I still need to get my list and pictures of my lippy stash done, (I did some of it, but need to crack on with the rest...) I wore this little gem today, Revlon Copper Chrome, (not to be confused with Copper Frost Chrome, which is more pinky.) Comparison swatches below. This lippy came all the way from Australia! (CF, not CFC, I got that from the Boots in Peterborough.) It's so pretty, I know I'm going to use this a lot in the autumn.

MAC's new lipstick collection! ❤ Some of these colours have got my name on them! (I'm pretty sure Matte Royal is a relaunch as I've wanted it for a while.)

I've been wearing brighter lipsticks. Dialled down the eyes. Dior 'Ready' has been a firm favourite. Chuffed picked up Make Up Forever lipstick in TKMaxx £4.99 Rouge Artist Natural N47. Wearable & staying power.

I've been wearing YSL #1 non stop but will pick something lighter tomorrow.

Bubbles I am feeling better, thank you. No lippy today, I stayed in all day and didn't get around to it. However, I did get my ( very expensive) lippies in the post today. Revlon Garnet Chrome, which was discontinued and is very rare...(So so worth it though, it's beautiful!)

It is Buster, I've tried it on and I love it...I'm flippin addicted to Revlon at the moment, I've bought quite a few different shades recently, filling in gaps in my collection. Cocoa bronze and Chocolate velvet are in my sights next, (both discontinued, both in the range of spending about twice what I would in Boots, plus P&P from the USA*. But I have bought ones that are lot cheaper than RRP, so I think of it as swings and roundabouts.)

*Good thing about this ebay seller is the extortionate P&P charges come with customs services so I don't get stung with extra taxes.
I talk about make up WAY too much.

I've finished a bright magenta pink lipstick, Chanel Rouge Allure Velvet Exuberante. I love using things up and my next project will be Max Factor Raisin, a sheer slightly metallic pinkish red.

I had a good lipstick day. Wore YSL #1. Felt powerful, chaired a difficult meeting successfully, and got compliments from a semi stranger. If you need a power red, this is it.

I found a long-lost lipstick in the pocket of a jacket that has not been worn much. It's Kiko Velvet Mat 606 in Fire Red and I have worn it for a few days. A really great budget lipstick.

Does anyone else remember the trend for sheer moisturising lipsticks? There were Revlon lip butters, L'Oreal rouge caresse, Maybelline color whispers (which never made it to the UK but beauty bloggers from the USA raved about) and Bourjous rouge edition shine, and probably a few others. It's weird how I remember this stuff. Anyway, I bought two of the L'Oreal ones way back and only ever tried one (impulsive fuchsia), so I wore the other one yesterday, which is cheeky magenta. It's not my usual in your face, obnoxious bright pink, but I like it and it's really shiny. I wore it with pale grey matte eyeshadow and sparkly black eyeliner and thought the combination looked really pretty.

Funny that, Saphire, I think that's the one I had on today, Rouge Caresse in Fuchsia.

I have a Revlon Lip Butter that I only wear during the spring. I also had a Coco Rouge Shine but it's gone already - I loved it so much!
