Comfortable going out shoes?

Do they exist?
I am going clubbing (yes really) for a friends birthday and I have a locket black and nude dress, skater style.
I need some comfortable shoes - high heels but not that will kill me within ten minutes.
I bought two pairs recently from new look and after half an hour I was nearly crippled!
What do you recommend that's stylish and comfy?

I have them in a wide fit. Also Chous Thrill are still available on places like eBay. Really comfy for high heels. Any good?

If you like the high ankle boot with dress look I have some mint velvet high funky boots. I can wear them for hours and they are super comfy they are sort of bikerish

Persil would rather soemthing a bit strappier?
I have teeny short legs so although I like the ankle boot look it doesn't work for me :(

I'm short too the ankle boot look works if you do black tights with black boots for example, so it doesn't cut your leg off and make it look shorter iyswim

I usually go for opaques and heeled ankle boots these days. I'm short but wearing black tights and black boots means legs don't look too short.

Try M and S Insole courts. I go clubbing and weat a 3 inch heel. They are comfy and with the in build insole they dont hurt by the end of the night. The 3 inch heel is enough for going out and looking stylish but not too high

M&S used to do really good, comfortable heels but now so many of their shoes are plastic instead of leather or suede. I'd buy more from them if they got the fabrics right.

M&S wide fit court shoes are amazingly comfortable. They aren't actually that wide but the width means that you may need different sizing. I'm a 6.5/7 normally but take a 6 in these; you'd need to try them on I think before buying.

They have a nice padded bit under the ball of the foot.

Clarks Kendra are the most comfy heels ever.

Daft question - do you just have bare feet with open toe shoes? Surely tights would look terrible?

You can get nude tights with an open toe, although they really only work if you have a toe bit on the shoe wide enough the hide the band of elastic.

Have you tried the cushion pads?? Is the pain on the ball if your foot or blisters?
I wear wedges because I feel more stable and I don't find my feet hurt quite so much. I also have used the Scholl cushion things and I've not tried it yet but I've seen a thing about taping toes 2and 3 together to combat ball of foot pain,

...and tape two of your toes together- either 2nd and 3rd, or 3rd and 4th..it really helps. (it's a proper thing- I saw it on pinterest)
