I'm very, very excited to go to my first wedding dress shopping appointment tomorrow morning!

I'm going to try and keep an open mind and try on all different styles even though I know what I want.

I love seeing other people's choices....anyone got wedding dress photos to share?

This will out me but never mind. Here is my dress. I love it but it's sat unloved on top of my wardrobe right now. I need to do something amazing with it.

Here's mine

I got married donkey's years ago, in a spaghetti strapped meringue. It suited at the time, but if I was choosing now I'd go sleeker and less fussy (same groom, different frock). Mine had a lot going on - silk, chiffon, beading, metallic embroidery, it was busy.

There was a veil too. I looked like a walking lampshade when that bit was added.

This is mine. With a bright red under skirt and a pair of louboutins that cost 4 time as much as the dress!

I agree with someone upthread - don't go strapless (unless you're really slim and have lovely arms).

Ps I thought I would like a slim long vintage type thing - but made me look like I was wearing a nightie! So yes open mind is a good thing.

Dulci i love a tunic/shifty type shape! Mine was a quickly arranged wedding due to moving abroad but I think if I did it again I'd still have a similar wedding and the same dress. My favorite part of my dress was the thick gold exposed zip, gold buttons and a cute collar!

Love my dress! Sadly I think the bodice would now comfortably fit my thigh!

I ordered mine off eBay, made in China and it turned out... ok actually

Mine - from Frock and Frill, got it about a week after getting engaged! Loved it so much, never saw another dress I wanted to try.
