Would you regard this as bridal?

I'm getting married - eek!! I'm nearly 44 and don't suit white or very light colours, however red is a good colour for me. This dress suits my budget but could I get away with it as the bride?

It's beautiful.

It's gorgeous, love it!

Post a pic of yourself in it - once it's been adjusted!

I love it. But I may well be biased as I got married in red velvet (winter wedding). Hope you can get the sizing sorted.

Red, yes - I did. Did get asked at the small scale meal afterwards if I was the bride, I was wearing a white jacket on top which gave a clue.

Jacket long chucked (huge shoulder pads!) But dress went to several other weddings.

Update: my friend is able to alter the dress and after it was pinned it looked so much better. Guess I now have a wedding dress!!! Smile

Beautiful. Why do bridal dresses have to be white.

KanyesVest · 15/02/2017 16:13

Wasn't it Queen Victoria's white wedding dress that stared the trend?

Fuzzypeggy · 15/02/2017 17:36

It's a beautiful dress

Fantastic, I'm so glad you're happy with your dress. Wear whatever the fuck you want, I say. I got married at 44 and wore black, and I felt extremely bridal, because I was the bride. It was the first (and only) dress I tried on and I absolutely loved it.
