What's your favourite thing about yourself?

There's often negative stuff about our body shape, size or style on this (wonderful) board. I'm guilty of it - a frequent offender. I hate my upper half, par example.

However, I like my legs and hair. My nails are looking good at the moment, too. And I'm blessed with good skin.

What's your favourite thing about yourself?

I'm relatively bright and a quick learner.

I like the contrast in my colouring, pale skin, dark hair. I like being short. I like the curve of my back above my bottom and I have an elegant neck and shoulders.
I'm genuinely very nice and would never intentionally hurt anyone in any way.

I have a good set of boobs and a good bum, I am a really good listener and people really open up to me which I like, oh my eyes are a great shade of green ( I have had people comment on them ) I am good at cheering people up, I have really lovely eyelashes they look almost false ( I don't know how though because when I was a teen I used to pluck my mascara which pulled my lashes out lol ) I am very good at reading people.

I am not being an air head or blowing my own trumpet, it was good for me to say those things as normally for me I think mostly negative things about myself and it took me a while to type those out.

I'm slim with good boobs and toned legs. Long blonde hair and nice shaped eyes.
Good cheek bones - thanks to my dmum for those.

What a great positive thread. I like my eyes which are very piercing blue and although I'm a bit heavy I'm tall and carry my weight in proportion, someone once called me statuesque which I liked. I look much better dressed than undressed as my round but oddly soft tummy can be tucked into my trousers.
I had one of those childhoods that could be made into a misery memoir but I have enough internal spirit and optimism that I've been able to leave it behind with only a smidge of bitterness and I've managed to sustain a really stable happy adult life with my DH and 3 DCs.

I have Good Hair and Good skin. Fortunate, as I give neither unstinting TLC.

I also have a tremendous pair of boobs to which I administer expensive bras.

This is a great self challenge! We are so prone to doing the exact opposite that it almost feels 'weird' to stretch the mind in this particular direction.

Non physical: my self awareness and recent ability to set boundaries and say 'no' without guilt. I'm honest, creative and positive.

Physical: I think I like my lips/mouth, smooth clear skin, hair colour (still natural light blonde at 43) and have a very small waist. I also still look very young, but I'm not sure this is a positive - it is just culturally touted a one.

I like my hair, it's waist length, hasn't had a trim in nearly two and a half years and is still in really good condition.
I like my eyes because they're hazel and I look wolfy in certain lights.
My lips are a nice shape, I like my boobs because they're fun to play with.
I love my imagination, it's got darker and a lot less whimsical as I've got older, but it's always there, and I'm good at putting those things down on paper. I'm also not terrible at maths and I love reading.
I'm short and stocky with muscular legs and big hips, I like to think of myself as a Stone Age woman, and that I'm just me.

I have pretty feet and good legs, and really good skin on my face and body.

Struggling a bit with personal qualities though, I'm very forgetful and that makes me seem like a crap friend/family member and I'm not. Sad

I like absolutely nothing about myself, before my marital break down I was always called Liz Taylor's daughter(big, huge compliment for me, I idolized the woman) now look like anyone's ancient granny 😞😞😞😞😞😞 Bastard ex.

Flowers ladybird and other pp.

  • I love my scars, I have a lot of them from knife wounds everywhere except my neck and face - DS (3 years) says my super power is turning into a zebra in the sunshine Grin I have olive-ish skin and they really show up as I tan. They remind me of what I've overcome, and how I didn't let a group of sadistic monsters rob me of liking how I look. it took a long time to be at peace with them but now I love them. They also assist with my Corpse Bride halloween costume, which is my go to every year.

  • I love my eyes, I have quite big, wide eyes with long thick black eyelashes, and my irises are black - you can very very rarely tell them apart from my pupils, and then only in certain lights if you look closely.

  • I love my hair, now that its finally back after chemo, its very pale blonde and I like the contrast between my black eyes, olive-ish shin and pale hair. With the scars too I probably look more like an Area 51 escapee though Grin

  • I like that in real life I am always called charismatic and charming, and that I spend a lot of time and my career helping people.

My hair. It's taken me to my thirties to really have a perfect hair routine where my curls always fall the right way and always look gorgeous.

I'm 34 and no greys yet

I hate my hair (thick and coarse and takes ages to style - so, so boring) and my legs (shapeless tree trunks where the calves aren't really that much slimmer than the thighs; luckily I do have ankles).

I like my eyes (large, brown) and eyelashes. I love being tall and relatively slim. I like that I tan easily.

I am often told I look like celebrities - a very diverse bunch of celebs for that matter, although a couple that get mentioned repeatedly (this happens less as I get older).

Now that I'm in my 40s I do feel much more invisible, but that definitely has its plus sides!

My hair too, I have always made an effort with it.

Don't do make up but nice hair, clothes and exercise makes me feel good.

I like my big eyes and tiny waist. I spent my adolescence wishing for longer legs but now I'm entirely happy with my figure and height (5ft) .It's only taken 30 years. Crap hair, it's fine , straight and boring. I'm good at reading people's emotions and usually know the right thing to say when someone is having a rough time.

badrabbit you're right that definitely felt weird.
