What's your favourite thing about yourself?

There's often negative stuff about our body shape, size or style on this (wonderful) board. I'm guilty of it - a frequent offender. I hate my upper half, par example.

However, I like my legs and hair. My nails are looking good at the moment, too. And I'm blessed with good skin.

What's your favourite thing about yourself?

Other people tend to notice my eyes and hair - I have big, vivid blue eyes, long dark eyelashes and long, thick, curly hair. I've never worn coloured contacts or false eyelashes but frequently get asked if I am. I also have good teeth and a lean, athletic body with long, slim, toned arms and legs and a great arse. I'm very strong - that's my favourite physical thing about me. The real best things though are that I'm intelligent, quick witted and capable. There are plenty of less than ideal things too but this is a really nice thread!

...Although when asked what he liked about me, DS looked at me for a while then said 'you have an unusually large head'. 😖

Nice thread! For me, it's eyes (very blue) and smile. I smile a lot and have straight teeth and well shaped full lips that have always been commented on positively, since I was a child.

Currently pregnant, but before, would also have said my small waist and ab definition. Not sure that's ever going to be the same again though!

Asked ds and he said 'you wipe my snot good.' 😐

I like my legs and arms, they are slim. Hate my "apple" tummy, its large and I look pregnant!

I like my eyes when I have done my make-up, they are a greeny/hazel colour and look nice in the daylight. Hate my grey hair.

Hate my teeth now that I have lost one a few years ago, makes me self conscious but you can only really see it when I grin widely. DH says I have a beautiful smile

I now like the fact that I have always had a chubby face, there are hardly any wrinkles on it and I think it makes me look younger apart from the grey hair

bummymummy I had trouble thinking of anything too! Nice nails? Mine are flat and full of ridges, I'd like to have nice smooth rounded ones.

I have massively upped my exercise since the DC were small and feel really strong, have good posture and lots of energy.

Genetics wise I'm blessed with thick hair (mid 40s and only beginning to get some grey hairs), very blue eyes, full lips, nice curves, and tiny feet (I love buying shoes!).

I'm happy with who I am, exactly as I am. I'm over weight, unfit and almost 50 and I'm working on the first two from a health point of view. I'm loved just the way I am, for who I am. I think I'm kind, compassionate and empathetic. DP says I'm clever, funny, caring, genuine and beautiful. As long as he see's beauty of some sort I'm more than happy.

Oh and I haven't smoked since New Year's Eve, I like that about me too

Cracking tits, small waist, quite a nice arse, very blue eyes, teeth good now they've been fixed.

Personality wise, I'm empathetic and thoughtful.

The older I get, the more I appreciate what I have and focus less on my less than perfect aesthetics.
I like my eyes, waist (could still be smaller!), bum (hated it as a teen in the 90s when everyone was stick thin), boobs (hated them in the 00s when it was fashionable to be flat), eyebrows, hair (hated thick frizzy hair in the 90s!), hands (they help me create everything I make - I have a hand fixation!).

I value my loyalty, kindness, thoughtfulness and sense of humour. Which sounds weird to say about myself .

I like my neck, my back dimples (bit random and only dp sees them!) and my teeth. My skin is pretty good in the summer, the cold and wind messes it up a bit in the winter though.

I have lovely shoulders and collar bones. Also I really like my height: I'm 5'5, which feels about right for me. I get a fair few comments about my cheekbones, which are rather prominent. No need for contouring!

There's loads of stuff I don't like, but I'll leave that for another day...

My hair. Very thick and dark, with hardly any grey even though I'm well into my forties.

Also, although there's nothing special about my body, it's fit and healthy and I mostly have plenty of energy. I'm grateful for that especially as I see my mother and MIL starting to fail physically.

My feet are AWFUL. The worst part of me.
My eyes and eyebrows have always been a good feature. I also have quite good cheekbones. My legs are not bad although i have a prominent shin bone so better with tights.

Appearance alone, my boobs, they're really great (sorry, I sound so vain!), my blue/grey eyes, my smile and v straight, v white teeth and my figure in general (small waist, big bum)

Personality, I make people laugh an awful lot and I'm endlessly optimistic and upbeat.

Oh I've only got one grey hair at 40 so that's nice!!

I'm a petite hourglass with fabulous boobs.
