Anyone had Botox or Fillers?

I'm 34 and I think my face is staring to look worn. Had anyone had the above procedures? I only want a tiny bit. Just to make me look more refreshed and less dull grey skin, with fine lines.

Merri essentially Ellanse is pretty instant whereas Sculptra takes a while for results to show. I like the instant gratification side of it Grin
It's more effective for specific areas. You do have a small amount of swelling but it resolves quickly.
If your practitioner is going to use hyaluronic acid fillers, stick with the big names-juvederm etc, the molecular structure of some of the cheaper ones means they can look lumpy or feel gritty as they start to break down.
For anyone who hasn't had work done, hyaluronic acid fillers come with the emotional safety net that they can be dissolved using an enzyme.

merriboo - dr Nyla uses different types of filler for different things. If you have a look at her website it's all there!

Feral - It's only just dawned on me the difference between eye bags and dark circles. Ive always called my dark circles bags but they're not ! Doh! BlushBlush

Feral thanks- I loved sculptra but my practitioner doesn't use it any more.
Bingy I can only see generic info about fillers rather than which products she uses?

Unlurking. So tempted...Anyone east mids willing to make a recommendation?

summerblonde · 04/01/2017 19:52

Hi Rabbit, I don't.know if any in East Midlands, I curious are you looking at Botox or fillers? I'm still departing but think I'm going to go with tear trough fillers. X

Bingy - does Dr Nyla use the cannula method when doing eye troughs? Just down the road from Wilmslow, so very interested in your recommendation. Thanks

Had 11s done for wedding, loved it and considering having again. Echo others though, doctor not beautician

Having read a few threads in here and this particular one; I booked with Dr Nyla and was really disappointed. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes at reception and then moved to a different room and waited further 20 minutes there. Apart from receptionist who greeted me as I entered, all other staff were cold particular Dr Nyla think she was shocked to see a ‘real’ person & not a celebrity! Her consultation was rushed and after spending an extortionate amount I barely see a difference. I really wish I’d gone to SkinViva or other recommended clinics. Others may have had better experiences but I don’t want to ever visit the clinic again!
