I suppose that's the gist of the question. I have a big belly and massive thighs in particular.

I'm having a fecking egg.

If anyone's still around I'll post a photo of it.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:07

Eggs!!

Eggs and toast.

The grub of sartorial champions!

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:18

I have no idea what sartorial means so I'm going to assume it means 'eggs are awesome'.

SortAllTheThings · 13/11/2016 01:19

What have you done to those eggses? Shock

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:21

I poached them.

But I don't like the whites. Only the yoke.
The whites are in a mug.

Is that weird?

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 13/11/2016 01:21

I recognise them as poached eggs whose whites have floated away. That's what happens when I go a poachin'.

The ability to poach eggs is a niche skill!

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:23

No, I remove the whites on porpoise with the eggshell trick.

If you want the whites to stick you need to add vinegar. It's a bonding agent.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 13/11/2016 01:23

Wait a minute............................you remove the whites?!

Where's the white from your eggs joff ? Hope they were nice, they look a bit weird?

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:24

Yes. I dislike them.

Boring.

BastardGoDarkly · 13/11/2016 01:24

Ah x-post all makes no sense now.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 13/11/2016 01:25

As if 2016 hasn't been distressing enough.

SortAllTheThings · 13/11/2016 01:26

Haha, makes total sense. I'm impressed with your late night egg yolk poaching skills

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:27

Totes.

You could call it 'egg-sit'.

2016 has been a crock of shit though.

Tottie · 13/11/2016 01:31

Nothing constructive to add except Grin and yum to the poached eggs, just how I like them.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:35

I'm trying to find some pictures of Bunny from Drifters for the OP.

She's curvy and rocks the whole tight top/ a line skirt thang.

I think that's a good look.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 01:44

OP, here:

This chick is totally cool. Bigger in the stomach and thighs but covers it with a line bottoms and skimming tops.

I love how she looks. Particularly the wrap dress in the second photo.

Rockabilly and tea dresses look great on this shape. Or wear a line skirts with fitted cardigans or denim jackets.

And go for whatever style jeans you feel comfiest.

And if you want to boost confidence then hair, nails and makeup are a good place to start. Nothing major, start with something small.

Yes properly fitted clothes are a must. I've seen stylist talk about how to dress as a full figured woman. Nothing over sized. Most talk about clothes that show you have a waist and wearing a nice fitting blazer type jacket. Show your legs if they are an asset.

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 13/11/2016 02:06

And don't get hung up on sizing. It's mostly random.

If the size 18 fits you but you're usually a 14 then buy the 18. It's just a number.

SortAllTheThings · 13/11/2016 02:25

Fucking love Bunny 👯

OP have you looked online at H&M plus size and Mang Violeta? These sizes don't seem to be in their stores - just online. Asos Curve of course. Also, more pricey, but nice quality, some larger sizes in COS and &OtherStories might fit and look nice. If you start from the feet and legs up, that might be good. For example if brogues and black opaque tights are your thing for everyday, or biker boots and leggings, then get tunic tops/dresses that work. A couple of pretty cardigans in colours that suit you in case you don't like the sleeves.
I know it's difficult to find structured jackets that you like when you're bigger, so I found wool, wrap coats are great. Unstructured and no buttons. Very flattering in darker colours too.
I think you need to get a few outfits like the above which fit generously and wear with nice acessories. Get your hair done if you can afford it. You need to know you can go out into the world anytime with confidence or the miserable cycle of disliking yourself because you don't have anything to wear continues. Go online! Have a try-on session and send back what doesn't work. Buy 2 sizes of the same thing to ensure you're bot sending back because it doesn't fit. In fact, get the tape measure out and use the store's size guide.
