Yes, I had a voucher worth £10.
Well i guess that at that price there has to be a down side! Will see what its like when it arrives on Monday.

Its worth giving it a go. Will hand wash it on a cool wash.

I like the length of this and then pink colour. I'm tempted to try it but I'd probably size up if it shrinks.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/11/2016 17:20

Noticed this review from another thread today:

Of all unlikely places, last Christmas Florence and Fred at Tesco did a couple of cashmere jumpers for £35. I took a punt on a grey and a navy thinking they'd probably only last a month or two, no lie they are better than the Brora one I inherited from my Mum. They are still absolutely perfect (I have looked after them well) and don't show any signs of ageing yet.

So there you go!!!

I bought a black cashmere cardigan from F&F some years ago for £14 in the sale and it is the BEST cashmere ever. No bobbling at all, washes like a dream, still looks much better than cashmere that cost nearly 10 times more. Can't fault it.

Beketaten · 12/11/2016 18:17

Thanks, was tempted at full price, but snapped it up now!

BestIsWest · 12/11/2016 19:02

Gah, I bought the grey roll neck earlier this week at full price.

I've bought their cashmere every year for the last 4 years and it's washed fine. No shrinkage, just use the wool cycle and spin.

WhooooAmI24601 · 12/11/2016 19:25

Ooh I'm famous, that was my review!

I only ever wash my F&F cashmere and it comes up perfectly each time. No idea if they're even meant to be machine washable, I wouldn't dare.

neveradullmoment99 · 12/11/2016 19:33

Ooh I'm famous

Ha ha....yes. It was a very reassuring review thanks!

I got my F&F black cashmere jumper from the charity shop but it looked perfectly soft. I have had it two years and put it in the machine wash as wool ( own brand wool detergent).
Still perfect.

Have ordered two thanks OP!

TequilaBlockingBird · 13/11/2016 10:27

I had a lovely blue F&F cashmere jumper, and it washed fine (on wool/delicate) but the moths got it........

TequilaBlockingBird · 13/11/2016 11:25

neveradullmoment99 - you are a bad lady. I have bought one now.

Liiinoo · 13/11/2016 12:28

I love Tesco cashmere. Wash at 30 on a delicates wash, no shrinkage at all. Way better than M&S.

dontcallmelen · 13/11/2016 17:39

Never - second that you are bad lady 😀I have bought two.

AllTheShoes · 13/11/2016 17:55

I've been looking for replacement jumpers, all mine have holes. Thanks! There's also sale on at Uniqlo on some of their merino and cashmere jumpers, though not as bargainous as these ones.

LizzieMacQueen · 13/11/2016 18:09

I had no idea that that was what F & F stood for.

I thought Florence & Fred was some very upmarket place I'd not heard of.

FannyWincham · 13/11/2016 19:54

How's the fit? I had a beloved cashmere v-neck with the perfect slouchy fit but the bastard moths got it. If this is boyfriendy then I may try it.

CointreauVersial · 13/11/2016 23:45

I have a fantastic black and grey striped F&F cashmere jumper that is into its third winter. It has never bobbled or shrunk (I wash it in the machine, with Woolite). Great quality for the price.

JaceLancs · 14/11/2016 00:31

My F & F cashmere jumper went bobbly very quickly
They are very mean with the sizes too
I'll stick to M & S, Tkmaxx and Jaeger thanks

dontcallmelen · 14/11/2016 19:52

I have just picked up two v neck cashmere jumpers from F&F, seem lovely nice long welts on cuffs a good length come down to my hips, have a small split on the side seam, ordered size 8 roomy enough but not over baggy, so if you want really slouchy then I'd say size up.
I got the pink & grey both quite pale & pretty, so we shall see how they wash😃

Revealall · 14/11/2016 20:00

Pink wasn't nice enough colour for me . Was massive too and looked a bit mumsy , so it's going back. Shame as it's warm and soft and the price has gone up so I could have been snug and smug.
It's £36 to spend on so else though.
