M&s beauty calendar

So I want the fabled beauty calendar but I can't find anything to buy on the m&s website.

I need...
New ankle boots
A LBD
Dressy tops for evenings out.
But there is nothing I even want to try on!

I have 3 children aged 1-6 but can only find new socks for them.

What can I buy? Confused

Elastisizer is excellent stuff - one of the few products that I first discovered in last year's calendar and have repurchased since. It does need doing at the weekend, but the effects last for a couple of washes.

I love the colour of the lipstick/pencil thingy - the perfect everyday neutral for me. Last year's was way too pale. I struggled to get the lid off too!

AndShesGone · 16/12/2016 12:01

Thanks Tess and Rudy - the hair oil was in the box, was just very well wrapped and didn't rattle! Lovely smell, just put it on for the first time.

I love the lipstick - other than the hand cream and maybe the nail varnish happy to swap something for another lippy?

I want some moisturiser!!

PetraDelphiki · 16/12/2016 14:31

chalkyc I'll swap lipstick for the cleansing balm if you like? Pm me

Buffyj · 16/12/2016 15:24

Did everyone get Elastsizer? I got Percy & Reed Wonder Balm. I'm a bit disappointed!

MoonlightMedicine · 16/12/2016 20:57

Coincidentally Buffy, I got the wonder balm in my BirchBox this morning.

CointreauVersial · 16/12/2016 22:21

Rudy - I'll have a look and see if I still have last year's - pretty sure it's at the back of the drawer somewhere!

paddlenorapaddle · 17/12/2016 07:49

Wahoo love love love Ren this is great going straight into my handbag

OverScentedFanjo · 17/12/2016 09:44

Tiny size today. Bit disapointed. After all the acid peels I'd have thought this would have been a bigger size.

happychristmaspoobum · 17/12/2016 10:11

I agree - todays offering was vair small.

Has anyone used it before? DD19 has a breakout and I wondered if it would be good as a sort of healing cream?

Dillite2 · 17/12/2016 10:38

That's a very small tube today! Even magazine samples offer bigger tubes.

I gave that wrinkle filler from last week to my mum and she loves it. She said that it makes a huge difference to her face.

My nails inc nail varnish is starting to chip. Seeing what my hands go through, it has lasted very well.

JemimaMuddledUp · 17/12/2016 12:03

Love Ren but agree the tube is tiny.

purpleprincess24 · 17/12/2016 12:16

First day I've thought meh ... looks like the ones you get in an airline vanity bag

Nettletheelf · 17/12/2016 12:30

M&S sell the Ren for £28 for 50ml and the tube in the calendar is 15ml, so I don't feel swizzed.

Bloody love this calendar...not one dud so far, and plenty of things I'd buy again. Just swishing my Elasticised hair around.

Thebelleofstmarys · 17/12/2016 12:33

The Elastisizer is probably the most effective hair treatment I've ever used . Love it and will definitely buy a full size tube now I've tried it.

MathsFiend · 17/12/2016 14:15

Yeah, maybe so, but I've seen ones that size given away free in mags.

OverScentedFanjo · 17/12/2016 14:47

It's a sample size. Day cream isn't an expensive product compared to other skin care. Trade price is v low for a day cream. This size is tiny. It's the first one that's felt stingy. After all the peels we needed a decent size day cream. I'm not expecting full size, but a larger size would be better. It's probably not a weeks worth of cream.

AwkwardSquad · 17/12/2016 16:14

I hope there's some nice bath stuff soon. That would make me very happy Smile.

Yes, feel free to remind us how much we paid. Also that it was £250 cost of the contents.

It's a lovely thing, and I'm glad I bought it. However, it is a fabulous marketing tool for M&S and the other brands. How many people now know about brands they hadnt heard of before, and are now going to purchase the full price product? It's a winner all round for M&S.

livinginhope87 · 17/12/2016 18:11

With the talk if swaps I would be happy to swap near enough anything for the cleansing balm. Feel free to PM me if anyone fancies a trade. Smile

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 17/12/2016 18:58

I just finished my calender (was using it as a countdown to going on holiday) and am slightly gutted to have missed the daily mn conversations! Am really glad I bought it, but I think I preferred last year's one overall.

CaoNiMerrilyOnHigh · 18/12/2016 07:16

Today's smells absolutely divine! Nice size for travelling too.
