Whats your natural hair colour?

And are you happy with your natural colour or would you choose a different colour?
I'm in a nosy mood.

I'm naturally blonde but I've always wanted to be naturally brunette. Many reasons why, but the main ones are the 'dumb blonde jokes', the other is blonde hair makes my face look constantly washed out and tired.

As a child it was red, proverbial carrot top, got first grey hairs aged seventeen & by my mid twenties it was white as snow, matched my wedding dress Confused
After the initial Shock at being whiter than my granny, I grew to like it. Being young got asked many times where I got it dyed so platinum Hmm

Mine is dark-ish cool brown with an auburn tone to it. It has got darker over the years, I was white blonde as a child, then went dark blonde / mousy brown. I started dyeing it blonde at 16 and then gradually went darker & grew it out after my first baby. I love having dark hair, even though I have blonde eyebrows, so have to get them "done".

Both my DDs are blonde, it will be interesting to see if they go darker as they get older, as both DH & I are dark.

I also have no greys, I get that from my dad, even at the ripe old age of 75, he is only just going salt & pepper around the ears.

Dead mouse

Probably greying dead mouse now but I've only caught sight of roots

Mouse. I've been through phases of going blonde and very dark at various times. Now I have dark honey, caramel-type highlights put through just to warm it up and make it more interesting, and I love them. Much better and lower maintenance than an all-over colour.

My natural colour was like a golden auburn, my mum tells me that when I was little & we were out, strangers use to stop her in the street & comment on what a lovely colour hair I had. Of course I hated it growing up, eventually dying it BLACK in my teens! Then I went platinum blonde & then I think I've been dark brown back to a copper colour over the years. I wish I hadn't dyed it in the first place, I'd of love to have my natural colour now & my hair would be in better condition!

I love dark hair I am incredibly jealous of naturally dark hair. I like blonde too, I've tried being blonde on numerous occasions, but I absolutely do not suit blonde at all, I look totally washed out, I look a real tool with it, which is strange as I'm quite fair skinned & freckly, yet I can carry off very dark brown!

At the moment my hair is probably 50 shades of ginger! I've done two colour b4's in the last 2 months (wanted to get rid of the dark brown dye) & recently put a copper colour on it to try & even it. But it's still lighter at the roots, which I suspect is the grey coming through and then it gradually gets darker down the lengths, with another lighter band a bit further away from the roots! But I'm determined not to dye it anymore, I think it's time to stop!

Shit mouse brown here.

Going darker washes me out and makes me look pale and ill. I'm light ash blonde. I love the colour, but wish it was easier to keep looking good.
