Whats your natural hair colour?

And are you happy with your natural colour or would you choose a different colour?
I'm in a nosy mood.

I'm naturally blonde but I've always wanted to be naturally brunette. Many reasons why, but the main ones are the 'dumb blonde jokes', the other is blonde hair makes my face look constantly washed out and tired.

Light ash blonde on top quite a bit darker underneath. The lightest bits are now starting to go grey but it's a nice silver white colour so not to bad.

Dark blonde or ash but mouse. Have had blonde highlights for many years but now trying to get back to my natural colour. As my hair is below shoulder length it'll take ages to grow out unless it's cut. Had it dyed back to moreorless natural but the highlights have come through as its faded.

Mid auburn. I have baby ombré highlights put in, which are a lighter auburn. I'll miss it when I go grey!

I can't remember! I suspect mouse with a good tinge of grey now, sadly....

Warm toned dark blonde / light brown, with the odd auburn streak. I've coloured it since i was 12... currently an ashy cool brown for winter. I just don't suit warm toned hair even though that's what i naturally have!

With a fair few greys as well ..... 👵🏼

I spend a fair amount of money dying my hair back to my natural before grey colour.

If you feel washed out with your blonde hair then I would think it's too golden or yellow in shade. You could try an ash or cool blonde dye. Dark ash blonde is essentially a light mousey brown.
I actually think natural blondes suit blonde hair or very light ashy brown but dark brown might swallow you up.

Naturally dark blonde with grey but dyed light ash blonde here. Tried brown a couple of years ago and hated it!

Dark brown with a fair number of silver sparkles now I'm hurtling towards 50. Not looking forward to the salt and pepper stage but hoping to avoid dyeing it.

Dark blonde, highlighted back to the way it uses to look when I worked outside in the sun all summer. I can always tell when the roots get too bad but no one else can so my hairdresser must be doing a good job!

My paternal grandmother (closest female relative with this colouring) dyed hers completely snow white as soon as she found her first grey in her 50s. She looked ludicrously chic for 30 years so I hope I have the same courage!

I have just become happy with my natural colour. I mean, literally in the last week Grin

I'm a mid/dark ash blonde (but bits go white blonde in summer) and have had it highlighted very very light for the last few years. I love brunettes but I've tried it many times and it doesn't work for me.

I have recently (thanks to this board) got better at dressing in colours that suit me, and I realised my hair was crying to be my natural colour again. As soon as I dyed it back to dark ash blonde the other day, everything just slotted into place. Am so happy with my overall look now, for the first time ever I think!

Dark brown with a hint of auburn. I've been dyeing it, since I was 14 though, usually dark brown to keep it shiny.
Atm I'm 99% silver/dark grey, only have a bit of blonde left to cut out.

Very dark brown. For the past year, it's been light blonde ombre but just had it rose gold/peachy/pink instead. It's summer here so it works well.

I think when I start a more corporate job, probably next year, I'll go back to my natural colour.

Light blonde. It's blonder in the summer and goes slightly warmer looking around this time of year. I'm not sure if there's any grey yet (35) as they wouldn't show up against the colour. DS1 has purest white hair and at 11 still isn't showing any signs of going darker yet. DS2 is 5 and has light blonde hair like mine with white highlights; a total mix of DS1 and I. They have the most beautiful hair and don't care about it at all, and long, thick lashes that sweep their cheeks. Those are wasted on the young.

Dark red which has got browner and duller as I've aged. I dye it back to its original shade. Love being a redhead.

Originally dark brown, now naturally (prematurely!) grey, which I dye back to brown. My roots look a temptingly beautiful silver though, but I'm not quite ready to go there yet (I'm 36) and not sure I fancy the growing out process either.

What a hairdresser would call dirty blonde. So I bleach it lighter.

This colour. Dull brown Grin. I haven't dyed it since I was a teenager. I'd quite like to try something now but I haven't a clue what.

Dark brown almost black with lots of grey, I've dyed it for years. Either bright red, auburn, pinky brown or violet. At the moment it's bright red. I think the shade is raspberry. I don't enjoy dying it but a black, brown grey combo is to hideous to imagine!

My hair is naturally brown and catches summer sun highlights well. No greys yet

I'd like to dye it peroxide blonde but I'm too tight to pay for the upkeep!

I'm a dark brunette.

I dyed my hair almost-black in my twenties, chocolate brown for a few years and now use a semi-perm colour that brings it up slightly warmer and glossier.

I was a ruby-red head for about 6 months in my twenties, but have never been blonde.
