Is this a used jacket?

I ordered a jacket from Shopbop. When it came, it had rusts in the zipper and the leather is more broken in than the one I have in a smaller size (which I have worn a few times but don't fit anymore).

What do you think?

No. I just received the jacket today.

Anyway Shopbop thankfully responded and said they will send a replacement.

It's just someone somewhere has exact same jacket and posted about not being happy with it for same reasons but also felt colour faded? Wonder if batch is faulty?

Jacket's colour is fine. However, it is very creased and the zippers are rusty.

Shopbop apologised to me though and said it might be that the warehouse made a mistake.

It's defo same jacket as other purchaser, they've even sent same hangers! search thread for 'leather jacket what colour is this' no idea how to link thread- hopefuly is not a scam thing- but at least you're getting money back!

Thats a big coincidence alright. The other poster also had the same jacket in a smaller size but it didn't fit any more.
A leather jacket is an expensive item to buy two of the same in different sizes.

Whatever your concerns are, they're not showing up in the photos.

Pilotress is this by any chance less about the jacket being worn (it doesn't look worn) and more about it not be exactly the same as the one you are replacing? If you're not 100% happy send it back. With a natural product like leather it's unlikely you'll ever find 2 exactly the same.

It's the same jacket, same coat hangers and same white paper covering the same zips! Someone is playing us!!!

This is truly bizarre. I looked up the price of blk dnm leather jackets on eBay and was absolutely amazed.
