I'm getting a black leather pandora bracelet for Christmas and want some charm inspiration. I like sparkles. Post photos of your black leather bracelets!!

I just think you can get very much the same thing, far cheaper, unbranded. I'm not a fan of mass produced jewellery that is far more expensive than it has any right to be.

I have a navy one. With a crown charm. I like it :)

llangennith · 28/10/2016 23:47

My DDs have silver bracelets with charms and then each got different coloured leather ones. They're awful. Cheap looking. Nothing good to say about them. Buy yourself a black leather shoelace instead.

CallarMorvern · 29/10/2016 00:12

I have Trollbead brown leather one, with a beautiful flower shaped catch. I much prefer them to Pandora. It has four strands twisted, with 3 silver charms and two glass ones.

CallarMorvern · 29/10/2016 00:13

My silver beads are genuine, but the glass ones aren't.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 29/10/2016 00:23

They always get slated on MN but everyone I know in RL has one or more!

I like them.

WanderingTrolley1 · 29/10/2016 00:26

I'd rethink getting one, OP.

SillySongsWithLarry · 29/10/2016 06:21

I'm getting a bracelet and a couple of charms for Christmas too. I already have a Tiffany bracelet but don't like their charms because they are dangly.

Yes the cumulative cost of all the beads adds up and you could buy something of better value but I can't afford £££ in one hit. £40 a pop is reasonable. And I like the idea of people selecting beads and making it personal to me.

Legogo · 29/10/2016 06:44

Everyone, dame? Confused

Softkitty2 · 29/10/2016 07:14

Pandora is crap IMO. Expensive for what it is and has no actual real value.

I have a leather three stranded Trollbeads one. Don't care if people hate it. Think the leather ones look better than the metal ones which are very Pandora-y.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 29/10/2016 07:37

Everyone, dame?

Yes, all of my girlfriends.

littlem133 · 29/10/2016 08:24

Oh gosh. Good job I didn't get one just coz everyone else will like it then!! I like mine. It'll have 2 or 3 sparkly charms on it and that's all. I've never looked at pandora before but I did like some of their earings

DrScholl · 29/10/2016 08:40

"Everyone I know in rl has one".

There's you answer plus they are actually just ugly beads

bruffin · 29/10/2016 08:44

Ignore them Op,they are just being mean slirited for the sake of it.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 29/10/2016 08:44

Typical MN responseGrin

MissTeriName · 29/10/2016 08:55

I have had a couple. No more than three beads. And do not get it wet, it shrinks.

RevealTheHiddenBeach · 29/10/2016 08:55

I didn't expect to love mine but I do! I wear it every day. I think full ones look horrid but uou wouldn't fill a leather one anyway. BEWARE dangly charms if you aren't normally a dangly person - they catch on everything. I'm eyeing up the ocean pave sparkly one atm.
