Big ask - 10 key pieces for this A/W?

I have the quintessential warm padded coat, skinnies are a staple for me and I have several bombers and bikers. So other than this, what else?

I'm thinking:

D'orsay flats
Dropped shoulder wool car coat (in pink or baby blue?)

That's it, I'm out.....inspire me, oh wise S&Bers.

• Something with a frill (currently considering this)

• Suede leggings (taupe/greyish)

• I'm on the lookout for slim fitting midi boots (between ankle and knee) to wear with slightly cropped kick flare jeans but beyond a rather pricey pair from Chloe, no luck as of yet. Also on the lookout for some winter sneakers, thinking the Marni x Zalando co-lab that are due out later this month might have something

• Manu Atelier Pristine Mini bag in Red (though actively boycotting all the burgundy and maroon as it's so ubiquitous, same goes for all the velvet and florals)

• These slim fit trousers from Cos that happily reunited me with a side zipper which is so much more flattering on me

• Oversized Max Mara camel coat

• This Mohair and Merino blend dress that's beyond comfy

I'm very into the oversized and texture currently if you couldn't tell

Oh, and an honourable mention at #11, my much loved buttery soft elbow length gloves in olive from Christian Wijnants (usually worn with a 3/4 sleeve navy coat).

Yes plenty warm, Dulcimena. I find when you have a bit of insular air between a sweater and your body it's much more effective at keeping you warm than something tight fitting.

Depends on budget PontypineNumber9, I've seen plenty of faux ones at high street prices but am not a fan (though I do have some from Filippa K from a few years back but they're not really faux, more of a soft finish). Mine are from Helmut Lang but I bought them a few seasons ago. The Outnet (and sometimes Yoox) are worth looking at if you have a decent budget, I like these from Vince on there. H&M has these in green but I'd reserve judgement until you see them in RL. I do think with suede it's harder to get right on a budget than leather.

What is the ankle boot of choice?

I'm wondering if I'd make my life easier if I stick to black and grey only?

I didn't it hard to mix colors, though I've seen a gorgeous, fleece-lined, burgundy bomber in TopShop.

I have too many clothes and not enough ideas. Nothing is old fashioned, all pretty new and suits me but I somehow feel each of my outfits are completely lacking a piece of 'on-trend'.

I used to be good at this, classic jeans and top with up-to-date boots or piece of jewellery. Now I just feel a bit lost and out of touch

Am I on the right track withe d'orsay flats?

Amber which gold trainers do you have? I'm on the hunt, I looked at reebok classics but dp said I would look like HoneyG style fucking guru that he is!!
