Honest opinions please!

I really need black trousers for tomorrow and bought these today. My main critic (DD) has just left for university and the cat has no opinion. Do my hips look huge and are they as unflattering as I think?

I think you should embrace your hips. The trousers look fab. Not unflattering at all.

I think they might be too skinny at the bottom which makes your hips look wider than they are. You look like you have a great figure. Maybe some 7/8 cigarette trousers rather than such skinny ones would be good.

Although having said that I think the angle of the pic perhaps makes the hips look wider and ankles smaller

Thank you for honest views! I thought that the bottoms were very narrow - they are Leigh from Top Shop which I had read were a good fit - maybe for a teenager (I am 47). Damn. I am still not sure! I have no-one in RL who can be brutally honest with me.

I think I agree with Fuzzy. In fact that photo reminds me of me wearing my skinnies (although you have a better figure). Personally I have to say, I think they make my thighs look massive. However there are so many other people wearing them that no-one really notices any more and some people like the look anyway.

Which is a very roundabout way of saying, I doubt it's your best look but I honestly wouldn't worry if you like them. And a slouchy top will help balance out your hips.
