I've just ordered these ankle boots

And want to make sure I'm not committing a style faux pas. I like them because of the colour, the heel height and the fact that they don't come too far up the leg. Oh and the price is pretty good too. Thoughts?

I posted some black ones last year and was told they were Mum boots so I just want to make sure I'm not straying into that territory this Autumn...

I really don't like them. I find them too clunky and not particularly stylish. Each to their own, however.

I like them, I bought a similar pair yesterday. You can always return them if you hate them when they arrive.

If they were black I'd wear them (I never wear brown, so nothing against the boots).

I only ever wore black and then decided that black looks dodgy with denim jeans. Tan looks so much better. I have no idea why.

Think you took that the wrong way melibu, I wasn't slating your taste, I was pointing out (in a nice way) that the OP might have deliberately chosen leather as they are more practical. I have non-leather boots also but they are only good for dry nights out rather than school run in the rain iyswim? :)

I like them. Chunky footwear is very fashionable at the moment. I'd wear them with black tights and a mini skirt.

Sorry but I don't like th op's ones. They are a mix of casual and smart and the heel doesn't look right.

I prefer the ones Melibu linked to.

Just had a quick look on TK Maxx and only liked the Prada Chelsea boots, a couple of Rockport and Aldo ones.

I like the ones in the OP.

If you like them, can afford them and they suit your style/needs buy them. It really doesn't matter what we think. You'll get a split between love, hate and completely indifferent on here, so it will be meaningless anyway.

I like the upper but not the heel, it looks a bit, I dunno, glued on maybe? Hard to tell until you try them on though.

I love a brown boot, looks great with jeans especially. I also love wearing mine with a skirt and opaques, these would probably look good like that too. If you like them, that's what matters. Enjoy them OP.

Sorry I do think they look like mum boots. Think it's the blocky heel.
