My Eye Surgery - Before and After

Just had my stitches out. I had surgery last Wednesday so still lots of swelling and bruising and healing to be done. Excuse the unkempt eyebrows lol.

Very happy with the results so far. So weird though, to see myself without the droopy eyelids and huge crack between my eyes; both have been there for around 20 years.

Anyway, a few of you have expressed an interest so here is a pic!

Wow, glad your pleased with the result. Looks very good.

May I ask where you had it done (and the cost? interested for myself...)

RoundTheBend · 06/09/2016 11:06

Oh I so want that done too!!! Your results look excellent.

FinnegansCake · 06/09/2016 11:16

Wow, that looks great OP! Amazing results after just under a week, I would have expected there to be more swelling than that.

It's something I might consider now I've seen how natural it looks. Thank you for sharing!

wrapsuperstar · 06/09/2016 11:18

WOW. Brilliant results. Currently 'only' 30 but I reckon I'll want this done one day...

WholiaRoberts · 06/09/2016 11:23

I'm in the South East cream. It cost 4.9k. I had a brow lift too as my issue was 50/50 re extra skin between eye and brow and drooping brow. It's been an intense week. I was going to post a pic of the worst day where I looked like I'd been mugged, but decided against it.

I think one eye looks a little smaller than the other because the swelling is worse on that side. I think it's going to take me a little time to get used to this lol and it's such early days.

Thank you for such kind words, and for not judging me!

Fabulous. I would do this in a heartbeat. Can I ask price indication for good UK surgeon if that's not too rude? You look great!

BringMeTea · 06/09/2016 11:27

Looking really good OP!

WholiaRoberts · 06/09/2016 11:33

I think it's odd to look at because the right eye is smaller. On Friday I could not even open the right eye - it was incredibly swollen. I think that's why it looks odd to me. I also had a bit of a Gordon Ramsay-esque forehead thing going on. That's been smoothed out quite a lot.

When I had the stitches out the nurse said I should consider botox to stop the deep groove/11s from returning. I was quite horrified that she would suggest that. I don't want an immovable, frozen forehead. I just wanted resetting a bit, to rectify what was mostly an genetic/facial structure issue. I'm happy to now grow old gracefully lol.

Well I think your eyes look great and if I ever find £5K down the back of the sofa, I'll be back for the name of your surgeon Grin

Disabrie22 · 06/09/2016 12:54

Brilliant results!!!

cheeseandmarmite15 · 06/09/2016 13:12

You look fabulous!

That's good surgery as it isn't about making you look young but making you look better. Worth the money and the pain!

WholiaRoberts · 06/09/2016 13:56

Thanks everyone. Really appreciate your kind comments.

Omg! Absolutely amazing, it looks fantastic!!!

So awesome that you posted this too!

I would probably want this in a couple decades myself! In fact I would love a very slight nose job like Blake Lively's right now, but it does worry me how it might turn out in case it went wrong which puts me off 😖

Very pleased for you op, I think people shall be queuing for your surgeon soon!

WholiaRoberts · 06/09/2016 14:18

Oh you've all made me feel much better. Thank you april. I feel very fortunate to have been able to have it done. But I also find it a bit odd lol. It's early days though and there is still lots of swelling (under my eye have gone from red to black to green and are now yellow).

My surgeon is very good. He has been President of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, and he teaches and is involved in examining too. And once a year he goes to Africa on a charity mission to operate on babies and children with cleft palate. I knew he would be good, but I really did my research.

Great result, and only last Wednesday? You can barely see the bruising.

WholiaRoberts · 06/09/2016 14:35

The bruising is further down the cheeks, out of shot.

I think it looks fab! I'd love to get mine done but I scar badly so I'm not sure it's worth the risk. Maybe one day!
On the other hand, if they could get rid of dark circles I'd remortgage my house and be first in the queue!
Hope you heal quickly Flowers

lovelybangers · 06/09/2016 17:55

Wow. It looks brilliant.

Leviticus · 06/09/2016 17:58

That's a really nice result. I'd be thrilled with that too.

legotits · 06/09/2016 18:01

I'm adding this to my surgery wishlist.

You look great Wholie

You look great! Thank you for sharing the photos. If you don't mind, would you send me the name of your surgeon? Is he in London by any chance?

Hope you keep recovering very fast!
