Will I regret this expensive purchase?!

I LOVE this jigsaw cardigan. I have birthday money that would pay for half of it. It's so much for one cardigan though (for me anyway, appreciate others might have bigger clothes budgets).

I'm sure I would get lots of wear out of it. I could also probably get a cheap weekend away for less....

I spent £70 on a Jigsaw cardi ten years ago - nearly nearly killed me at the time but I'm still wearing it now.
Having said that, I don't know if the quality is as good these days.

Get it! I bought a wool poncho from Jigsaw a few years ago and it's still lovely, just bought 2 more (a short one in chunky cream knit and a longer, grey linen/wool mix). Love them!

They did have it in navy in JL last week... so it might come back. They have it in store. I tried it on, twice. Loved it each time. Purchased!!

I only spent £400 on my wedding dress! But then I only wore that once.... Grin

That's lovely. Classic. Would have for years. I don't have a large budget but do splurge on good knitwear as I like to be warm and cheap knitwear is a crime! Xx

That is indeed lush and I am going to get one too. I love it. You will never have it off and neither will I Wink. Don't think of the upfront cost Mrsmaud think of the cost per wear. You have inspired me to look in Jigsaw again. Thanks.

The grey is not all that but the navy is gorgeous. Only XS and S on website left. Thin you've started a stampede Mrsmaud

starjump what is this website? Have you ever ordered anything from there???

Sorry, but I absolutely would not order anything from the keyworthprimary website linked above. Please don't risk it.
The whole site looks very dodgy indeed. There are no real contact details that I can see, and all the information about shipping, privacy etc is really poorly written. Not to mention that if you wish to return an item they will deduct a 20% handling fee!

I don't know the website. I literally just googled this item and this came up. I agree, it looks far too good to be true, hence my post. I wondered if anyone else knew about it. I haven't ordered anything from it.
Although for a few minutes was mighty tempted!

It's a good investment piece? You'll get a lot of wear out of it as you could dress it up or down. Treat yourself!

Its lovely but several bad experiences of spending a lot on knitwear has left me bitter.

If its a big outlay for you you'll regret it when it looks like a misshapen bobbly rag after a couple of washes.

Dry cleaning might help it hold its shape but it will still go bobbly and old looking really quickly.

I love Jigsaw, I think it wears really well and spent that on one of their biker cardis a couple of winters ago, it's lovely and cosy and I haven't regretted the spend. Saying that if you can wait for the winter sale it might get reduced well, I did get a jumper in the sale recently reduced from £100 to £29. But the sales only happen twice a year Hmm
