The most useful that I own by far is the large Bottega intrecciato tote (about £2.6k). I have the grey version, so so good for flying (I travel a lot), takes a deceptive amount of stuff and always looks good (it gets beaten up a fair amount!). I'm waiting for the midnight blue to be reissued but the Bond Street store said it should be soon.
I used to work in a super corporate job and labelled bags always seemed wrong there so I used Valextra mainly, outside of work was a different matter!
Now I'm in a corporate creative role, I use whatever I like. I had a birkin but didn't like the weight. I have two Kellys which I love but I don't get on with the other Hermes bags.
Chanel jumbo maxi is very useful, but you have to try it in person or you may look wrong proportionally if you're not tall. Other sizes of she 2.55 or reissue I use a lot. I don't like the Boy, not me. I also love the Antigona, Fendi 2jours (the wear well), LV Sofia Coppola bowling bag, Saint Laurent bowling (the leather is a little sensitive though), Celine saddle bag and the new SL satchel (used a lot this summer).
I'm not great with small shoulder bags, unless it's for the evening, as I tend to carry a lot. I did get a Chloe tooled bag this season and using it quite a bit. I'm looking at the BV one up the thread but in burgundy for this season.
Clutch wise I love the McQueen special editions and Fendi embellished over to you or baguette. I bought a Bottega knotted clutch in gold/bronze metal this season, which has been very useful. For summer I love Alaia bags (cut out tote and clutches are very pretty).
I love style, fashion, design and interiors so I can't really say I'm a bag person really, I'm more an everything person..
