Sick of perfumes just fading away in seconds, please tell me the good, strong, bold long lasting ones so I can finally find one!!!

Dolce Vita by Christian Dior. Wore it when I was doing jury service, and sitting in a hot stuffy courtroom it gave me a massive headache, have not been able to wear it since. But it's certainly powerful stuff!

needastrongone · 09/08/2016 17:03

Tom Ford. I always buy Tom Ford.

I've just bought 2 Michael Kors in duty free to break said TF habit. They both last about 3 nano seconds.

Agree re Angel too, regardless of whether you like the scent.

gaggiagirl · 09/08/2016 17:07

Angel.
Tom Ford white patchouli
Chopard wish
Sjp Lovely EDP

I love them all

GingerLDN · 09/08/2016 19:04

Opium
Youth Dew
Prada (Amber?)

FrustratedFrugal · 09/08/2016 19:26

Strongest in the sense that smelling it hurts - Montale's Aoud Lime. (Honorable mention to a full squirt of Chanel Coco Edp)
Strongest in the sense it stayed on my skin the longest - wafts of Molecule 01 go on for at least 48 hours.
Strongest in the sense of longevity - a smelling strip dipped in castoreum at a perfume fair - I could smell it on my dresser for at least six months.

BestIsWest · 09/08/2016 21:27

Diorissimo. You only need the tiniest drop and it will pong all day. DH bought me a massive bottle. I have no hope of ever running out of the stuff.

MrsBellefleur · 09/08/2016 21:31

Flowers by Kenzo l'elixir. Lovely strong scent on me. Sprayed it on at half 7 this morning, can still smell it now.

IdaDown · 09/08/2016 21:33

Be careful what you wish for...

Mrs5boys · 09/08/2016 21:35

Spellbound ,,,,, 2 squirts is more than enough ! Really hard to find in the shops now though ,,, debenhams beauty counter sell it !

IfNotNowThenWhenever · 09/08/2016 21:38

Chloe Narcisse. It's olfactory plutonium Shock

CheckpointCharlie2 · 09/08/2016 21:40

Escape by Calvin Klein lasts for ages. Also a hippy perfume from Lush, think it's called exhale?! My new Jo Malone one lasts about five minutes and they made us buy the body creme (not cream Hmm) too which makes fuck all difference.

BettyDraper1 · 09/08/2016 21:44

Dior's Pure Poison. I absolutely love it. Strong, exotic, unusual but much, MUCH more beautiful than the original.

HeadfirstForHalos · 09/08/2016 21:46

Coco mademoiselle , the Lidl one is not the same at all, it gets up my nose and gives me an instant migraine , the proper one doesn't . I've had compliments hours after applying, and I use it sparingly.

HeadfirstForHalos · 09/08/2016 21:48

I also have Black Opium, that lasts well , it's quite a heady scent though.

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 09/08/2016 21:51

Annick Goutal Sables.

This stuff sticks.

ladylambkin · 09/08/2016 21:55

Valentino Donna

LadyFarnborough · 09/08/2016 22:07

Samsara. The dementor of the perfume world - sucks away the smell of anything else within a 2 mile vicinity.

whitehandledkitchenknife · 09/08/2016 22:13

Must de Cartier II - think it's been discontinued though. A winter, night time perfume. Lasts for days.

JedRambosteen · 09/08/2016 22:25

I tried on some Tom Ford fragrances (EDP) on a shopping trip recently and I could smell the Grey Vetivert o my skin the next day, even AFTER I'd showered! It was more problematic for the Jasmine one because I quickly went off it & could not shift it!

Antoninaisintheroom · 09/08/2016 22:34

Suprised that nobody mentioned Lancome LA Vie Est Belle - one spray is enough My Burberry is strong as well. Coco Mademoiselle does not stay on me - it is lovely though, and I agree that Lidl smells nothing like it.

MrsSchadenfreude · 09/08/2016 22:36

Anything you spray on yourself in a duty free shop before getting on a long haul flight will be very strong and long lasting if you hate it. True fact.

bibbitybobbityyhat · 09/08/2016 22:37

Clinique aromatics elixir

applecatchers36 · 09/08/2016 22:37

Chanel no 5

EndodSummerLooming · 09/08/2016 22:40

First, Van Cleef & Arpels

TheHubblesWindscreenWipers · 09/08/2016 22:43

Hermes 24 fauborg.
I can no longer wear it after being pregnant because my insane sense of smell never went. But this stuff lingers
