I was totally swayed by the beautiful packaging. Please tell me I'm not the only one who has done something like this?

£65 Shock

I can just about get my head around £20-odd.

Where was it from?

Upthetree100 · 06/08/2016 22:40
Shock
PurpleDaisies · 06/08/2016 22:40

Wow. Is it good?

BettyCrystal · 06/08/2016 22:41

Tom Ford? What colour is it?

JinkxMonsoon · 06/08/2016 22:41

I probably would have done it in those halcyon days when I had plenty of disposable income.

But... how good was the packaging exactly? Grin

Graceflorrick · 06/08/2016 22:41

That's an awfully expensive lipstick. Does it have magical powers? Grin

Mumble29 · 06/08/2016 22:41

Shock what brand?!

Thingvellir · 06/08/2016 22:41

Honestly, that is ridiculous. I've spent £20-odd before..,what lipstick was it?

KoalaDownUnder · 06/08/2016 22:42

Well, obviously we need the brand. (Nosy)

And a photo of the packaging! Shock

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 06/08/2016 22:42

I bet it was Louboutin? I think the packaging looks a bit like a butt plug.

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 06/08/2016 22:45

I'll happily drop a few ££ on a Chanel lipstick or a few £££ on a Tom Ford lipstick but my inner frugalleer recoils in horror at the price of Louboutin's lippies.

mrsclooneytoyou · 06/08/2016 22:46

Blush I know! I just went crazy

I'm going to need some details

tiffanysfanny · 06/08/2016 22:54

Damn! The packaging looks good.

MountainDweller · 06/08/2016 22:55

Oh it's beautiful! We need to see if it's a nice colour too though...!

I nearly spent £100 today on beauty stuff... There was a free gift BlushBlush but I got to the checkout and my code for the gift didn't work! So I backed away. Will probably still buy all the things but not in one go!

Pussywillows · 06/08/2016 22:58

I loveeeee these louboutin lipsticks!!! Great choice WineWink

Prive120 · 06/08/2016 22:58

I admit I have one of these... It was a Christmas present for my wedding. I then bought myself the lip liner too. Pure madness.

They're good, but I keep going back to my Mac ruby woo as its smaller and easier to carry.

When you wear it, apply and blot 3-4 times to get a really solid colour. I found applying with a brush didn't make it stay on as well.

Glad I wasn't the only one suckered in Wink

BuntyFigglesworthSpiffington · 06/08/2016 23:01

Meh.

I've never heard anyone say the actual lipstick itself is much good.

NoTractorsAtTheTable · 06/08/2016 23:02

Oooooh

How does it feel when applied? Is it lovely, like being licked by angels, or is it dry (heaven forfend!) and needs a moisturising base coat? Does it flake?

I must know. Please describe. In detail. Grin

Costacoffeeplease · 06/08/2016 23:04

Definitely a butt plug

Did no-one tell them? Confused

Mumble29 · 06/08/2016 23:04

Oooooohhh that's a bit gorgeous! What colour did you get OP?

JinkxMonsoon · 06/08/2016 23:05

I felt a bit meh about it, then I saw that it comes in a presentation box.

Now, you don't get that with Revlon.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 06/08/2016 23:05

I hope the lippy is three times better than any other you have. I don't like the packaging at all. But it's your money, you're free to spend it exactly where you like.

Botanicbaby · 06/08/2016 23:08

sorry OP opened this expecting to be green with envy at the lovely packaging but no, its not doing it for me. At all.

any lipstick over the 25/30 quid mark and I feel guilty and then experience 'buyer's remorse' and the more that kicks in the more let down I feel.

each to their own! i do hope you love it.
