Ascot - help with shoes for this dress please!

So I have this dress for my day at ascot. We are in a box to I want to look tip top!

It doesnt seem to me to be a classic Ascot dress, but its all I have and I can't afford to buy anything else. I just need shoes and perhaps a hat / bag combo.

I have no idea where to start. Please help!!

I really really like those clumpy coral shoes, Symbollocks. Might go try them on. Would they be elegant enough for ascot though I might buy them regardless

Ooh, good fascinator there from Symbollocks. Not too big I think - I'm short (5'3) and find those upright disc ones to be the most flattering.

I reckon you'd have to try the coral shoes on. I don't think they'd look as chunky on IYSWIM! 😀

Love those faith shoes they are awesome. I think they would go fine with the dress (and with Ascot) but you might need to go a bit edgier with the rest of your outfit eg a fedora not a fascinator.

The colour of the Michael kors shoes and fascinator wouldn't work together though they will clash because the shoes are more a rust pink and the fascinators a coral/salmon pink.

Does anyone know if I can get a nice petticoat thingy from the high street, something to make the skirt look 'bigger'?

Also shoe budget £70-80 at the very very most
