I don't really want to have to buy something new (well, I do, but I can't really afford it) so will any of these suffice?

It's a marquee country wedding and it's been described as 'a festival rather than a wedding' and specified as not black tie. The groom will be wearing tweed. DP and his brother will both be in navy suits as its all they've got, and BIL's girlfriend will be wearing a mid length cream dress she's just worn as a BM, so quite dressy. Others are going more casual. I really wanted to wear a midi tulle skirt but again, money.

I would kill for your figure op...then again 40 years ago, I probably had a similar one lol
Just think Kylie...how she plays ( and dresses) to her petite figures strengths.

Go girl ;-)

Skirt has arrived. What do we think? I like it, but not a clue what bra I'd wear with the top. I also remembered I have a sort of lacy loose blazer in a nude pink which would do okay if it got chilly?

It's ok but I prefer something with more structure....

Like what? 'It's ok' was really the reaction I was hoping for Grin

I love that skirt! Just a couple of things...

I think it needs a less fussy top with it, in white or cream and plain so the skirt is the focus and the top 'blends' in with the skirt instead of cutting you in half, if you see what I mean.
If you can get a decent white strapless bra, that would make a difference. I just bought one in Tescos that I love for wearing under strappy tops.
Overall though, great choice for an outdoor wedding. Glad you didn't go for wellies in the end.Grin Have a brilliant time Smile

I have decided on this top (with strapless bra obviously) and this jacket. I think it will look a lot more 'put together' once I've done hair, jewellery etc but I feel comfortable in it and want to swish the skirt all day Grin
I feel like I've made enough of an effort without being concerned I'll be over dressed compared to everyone else. Phew!

I'm trying very hard not to order that online, I want that swishy skirt! Looks fab with that top.
