What colours go with brown leopard print?

I've got a brown leopard print skirt but nor sure what colour to wear with it other than black... any ideas? I can't find a black top that looks ok!

Red.

White, cream and brown might be worth looking at. Or a contrasting shade like turquoise, jade or yellow if you're feeling braver.

Red. But I don't think I'd wear a red top with leopard print skirt. More red shoes or bag.

Coral the shade with a hint of orange or yellow

Gold.

Dark teal, charcoal or cream

But I think you have to be careful with how you style it especially going with a colour other thn black. I'm picturing a cream cashmere looser fit sweater or a dark teal/petrol fluid silk tee tucked in. But obviously depends on the shape and hue of the skirt.

Beige, cream, very light dust pink.

Gold or fuchsia if you're feeling extremely brave

Personally, I'd keep it classic and stick with black or cream. There's enough going on in the skirt. It doesn't need to be competing for attention with anything else.

It's a pencil skirt - about knee length. I've been trying to find a black top to go with it but struggling to find the right style

Pink would be nice, but plain: as burnishedsilver says, there's enough going on in the skirt.

I generally go for black, but it literally goes with most colours. Chocolate brown, gold, white...
I try and do same colour top and shoes though if it's a skirt or pants as you can start looking too 'busy'

I like the grey casual and the pink for going out :)

Depends on your colouring and what the occasion is.

I think cream and light pink is more classy

Please don't wear red with leopard print, you'll look like an, ahem, lady of the night

Would stick with black cream or grey personally.

And definitely not red or hot pink!

Anything warm (ie yellow) toned. So if red, then a warm poppy/geranium red. All Browns/beiges.

Leopard print is a neutral! I think the "Bet Lynch/lady of the night" associations are mainly long gone. I often wear a leopard print skirt with a Breton top, opaques and flats, either Chelsea boots or loafers.

I think leopard print is a neutral in small amounts, like for bags or shoes. If you treat it as a neutral on a larger area it can end up looking garish.

Black ,nudes ,red ,cream or white.

Please avoid pink

I used to have a leopard patterned dress.
I used to match it either red, light pink or mint green.
