Just that really.

How often do you clean yours and what with?

CointreauVersial · 26/06/2016 23:20

I don't clean them as often as I should. Blush

But I use water and shampoo, then rinse and leave to dry.

PerryHatter · 26/06/2016 23:50

I use baby shampoo and not as often as recommended Grin I wash foundation brushes/sponges more often than powder brushes.

suze28 · 26/06/2016 23:54

Not as often as I should and use a bar soap like Dove.

lashy · 27/06/2016 00:05

Not often enough Shock.
I put a drop of Fairy washing up liquid in a mug, pour in fresh boiled water and leave brushes to soak for 10 mins before rinsing and leaving to dry naturally.

DameDiazepamTheDramaQueen · 27/06/2016 00:07

Every couple of weeks with a tiny spot of Fairy.

GingerLDN · 27/06/2016 01:33

I use the real techniques brush cleaner tool it's absolutely fantastic

8DaysAWeek · 27/06/2016 02:24

Every week two months or so. Not as much as I should Blush and I use whatever shampoo I'm currently using.

ICJump · 27/06/2016 02:39

Never. I didn't know I should.

dudsville · 27/06/2016 03:37

I clean mine weekly to twice weekly. I usually just use the hand pump soap but I read on hear that ELDW only shifts with cream cleanser so today I used cream cleanser first followed by soap. Now, let me sicken you into checking your brushes more often. About a month or two back I was washing a brush and something about it caught my attention, like it was harder to clean or something. I spayed the bristles gentle under the running tap to rinse the soap out like normal but something just wasn't right. I looked more closely and there were little things like creatures deep down in the bristles. Now I freaked and didn't look into it any further. All my other brushes got binned.

Only1scoop · 27/06/2016 03:57

I use baby shampoo and a minuscule spot of dettol

About every 3 months.

Will do them tmrw Blush

ZacharyQuack · 27/06/2016 04:27

I use baby shampoo and RT's brush cleaning silicone thing and clean them every week. I can't stand grubby brushes.

LotsOfShoes · 27/06/2016 08:41

I clean them after every use with warm water and shampoo. I'm pronento spots and don't want to risk grtting more because of andirty make up brush.

HoggleHoggle · 27/06/2016 08:50

I never do Blush

I have grossed myself out now and will do it today. I'm usually very clean, honest Confused

Judydreamsofhorses · 27/06/2016 09:08

Every Friday, using baby shampoo.

cheeseandmarmite15 · 27/06/2016 09:10

Mine get washed in warm water and hibiscrub. I replace them once or twice a year, depending on which ones are used the most

pinkieandperkie · 27/06/2016 09:15

I clean my brushes about once a month. I wash them with shampoo, rinse and leave to dry. My blusher brush in particular works so much better when it's clean and fluffy!

CoolToned · 27/06/2016 09:51

I clean foundation brush everytime - after I use it. But I rarely use brush anyway so it's not too much of a hassle. I use oil and soap. Any soap, any oil will do.

cressetmama · 27/06/2016 11:37

Spray with Serozinc or brush cleaner, and wipe on cotton pad. About twice monthly, depending on how often I use the brush.

CointreauVersial · 27/06/2016 12:54

Argh, dudsville, that's gross!

dudsville · 27/06/2016 20:36

Yes Cointreau, it was, very.

Polkadot1974 · 27/06/2016 21:58

Not enough. Clearly. Urgh! Dettol tomorrow I feel

DesolateWaist · 27/06/2016 23:05

Very interesting answers. Thank you all.
A bit of shampoo I think it is.

OP posts:
dragonsarebest · 28/06/2016 00:02

A drop of Dr Bronners, every 1-2 weeks when I remember.

lapinthe · 28/06/2016 08:52

Weekly. I use a bit of micellar water in the palm of my hand and swish.

Nabootique · 28/06/2016 09:32

Foundation ones maybe every 10 uses. I have four foundation brushes so that makes me a bit lazier with it. Everything else with powder products less often, but again, I have a lot of them and use different ones all the time. I use baby shampoo.
