Help!! Where do you shop for 13 year old boys clothes?

My eldest ds has asked me to take him shopping for clothes for his birthday. I don't follow fashion particularly and like what I like. He is starting to want to be a bit more fashionable. His dad isn't at all.

I mainly shop for him at H&M and sports shops. He's a gamer but also plays football.

Any advice greatly appreciated? Please don't say Superdry though as I hate labels like that.

No, it's really not! You wouldn't wear socks that weren't fitted to your feet and were loose would you?

Well my DS nearly 13 wouldn't wear a blazer... he has one pair of smart skinny chino type trousers that he'll wear with a checked h and m shirt ( and the obligatory hoodie) when he needs to look smart. 12 months ago I may have persuaded him into a blazer but no chance now puberty and peer pressure has kicked in.

I made a discovery that H and M XS men is equivalent to a childs aged12-14 ish. Plus XS t shirts are often on the sale rail. :)

The uniform here is dark v skinny jeans ( primark do good ones) or nike tracksuit bottoms worn with a T shirt or ( often obscure European) football shirt and a hoody.

DS would happily spend your money in sports direct, h and m or primark

My DS wears regular jeans (not built for skinny ones!), WWE tshirts, DC/Marvel tshirts, hoodies and converse

to be fair, ds rarely wears a tracksuit out and about, he says they are home clothes. He would wear skinny jeans and a shirt out to a restaurant. (maybe without any jacket/hoodie/sweater etc, because it didn't look cool, and then freeze)

13 year old boys will not have finished growing! My almost 13 year old likes JD sports, foot asylum, skinnies from next or h and m.. trainers that cost a fortune .. you get the idea lol..

Never seen a blazer and wool jumper on a 13yr old ( or 5yr old!).
Unfortunately labels are the way to go where we live, Vans, Adidas, occasional North Face, Superdry is on the way out. Skinny jeans, logo Ts, long sleeve shirt with skinny jeans for smart.

Teens do wear coats here, just not for school as they have to carry them round all day. North Face or other pricey outdoor brand.
Lots of hoodies, Hype rucksacks.

My ds at nearly 15 likes Primark skinny jeans, Next skinny chinos, H&M for tops and shirts, the odd bit from topman but seems to spend most his time swapping tops and hoodies with his girlfriend (who wears a lots of men's stuff too). Yesterday he had a fetching pair of pink and white fluffy socks on Hmm
