That leaves say 12 weeks you might wear them. Every year I fall for this.

Most of my 'summer' dresses are just black jersey ones, so can easily move into Autumn with layering.

I am having a bit of a yearning for a proper old fashioned gaudy cotton sundress still, but not yet found anything I like.

Sun's out. I've laid out a summer dress for work tomorrow. Bright green

I wear very different styles in winter to in summer, so can't just wear the same dresses but with bare legs and sandals instead of tights and boots. So separate seasonal wardrobes it is.

Anyway, I decided that I am doing bare legs this week rain or shine Grin
Gotta wear my summer work clothes some time.

Day two ...going OK. Narrowly avoided rain on dash to car park after work. Forgot umbrella and had Sally Hansen stuff on my legs, which would have been disastrous in a downpour Grin.

Summer, for me, means losing the coat, shoes that can be worn without socks and exposing my ankles. Nothing too radical there.

I have my own personal heatwave Angry
Last winter I faffed about in a light jumper and cardi while everyone else was buttoned up in parkas and down-filled North Face coats.
I prayed for cold , I don't think my winter coat saw daylight until January when I went to Glasgow.

Too many of the clothes instore now are nylon/synthetic which I really don't want to wea.

We're going away late October so I'll wait till August to buy my swimming cossies.
Anything I'm wearing at home will go on holiday, I won't buy much new (and what I do buy can wait for the sales)

Roll on jumper buying in September, looking for proper cashmere this year (if the hot flushes allow me)
