Hi! Can anyone recommend some flattering jeans? I'm 5ft 6, 36f boobs which make me look bigger than I am Confused and a bit of a tummy. Any jeans, whatever style, look terrible in my opinion. I'm 14-16 and 41 tomorrow! Wine

Sorry if this has been said don't have time to read through the whole thread but Asda George do a type called something like wonderfit that are really good.

Abmama91 · 27/05/2016 15:39

I find Asda's wonderfit jeans to be brilliant, I wore them even before I got pregnant because I was prone to bloating and always between a size 10/12. They're so stretchy and comfy I was back in them a week after giving birth to DS, who's 13 weeks old now, and still wearing them now they fit just as well Grin sizes are S,M,L etc but fit like 10/12, 12/14, 14/16. Only £20 and loads of colours to choose from, can't beat em in my eyes!

KitNCaboodle · 27/05/2016 15:42

I've recently been introduced to wonderfit too and I love them. Got rid of most of my other jeans after buying these.

blutley · 27/05/2016 15:57

Sainsbury's blotchy jeans with built in tummy control and also Ben de Lisi jeans from Principles in Petit (I have 3 pairs) they suit my 5ft4 size 16 frame really well.

nosireebob · 27/05/2016 15:58

I only buy Not Your Daughter's Jeans NYDJ now - fabulously flattering as they have a tummy tuck system but unlike some others without being uncomfortable at all. Size 14-16 is a US 8 or maybe 10 (I'm a 14 and 8 is just right) and you get them in straight, skinny, boot cut and all sorts of colours. They last very well (I live in them...)

Pricey if bought new unfortunately but I have got a few eBay bargains

OhMrBadger · 27/05/2016 16:00

I bought some Monsoon Blue Label straight leg and some bootcut. They are great. Also got some straight leg ones from Pepperberry.

I am also Large of Boob and Wobbly of Tummy so anything that stretches up and over is great!

okthen · 27/05/2016 16:00

I hate shopping for jeans but had found my ideal styles now.

Gap Legging fit are amazing. Fairly high on waist, don't go baggy. I get them for £20 from an outlet. Get the size down tho. I am usually a size 14 in jeans (and would struggle to get, for eg, a Topshop 14 over my thighs) but need a 12 in the Gap style.
Always Skinny from gap are good also.
For info I have an hourglass shape with mahoosive hips/thighs and generous arse, small waist. I don't get muffin top or gaping waistline or sausage thighs with either of those Gap styles. Hurrah.

Cath40t · 27/05/2016 16:07

I'm 45, 5,5 and a 14. Fat Face do the best as far as I'm concerned. I used to buy from Abercrombie when i lived in the USA, they were the most comfortable I'd ever worn.

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine · 27/05/2016 16:12

I like the M&S sculpt and lift jeans. I wear the skinnies, but they come in a slim fit, too.

Phalenopsisgirl · 27/05/2016 16:18

Joes muse cut are particularly flattering for a curvy figure

HooseRice · 27/05/2016 16:22

Lee cooper straight jeans give me an amazing arse

BikeRunSki · 27/05/2016 16:26

I'm a similar age, shape and size to you OP. I love my M&S straight legs. I can't get my calf muscles into anything skinny! Straight legs looks skinny on me!

Mildred007 · 27/05/2016 17:11

I'm a size 14-16 and buy my skinny jeans from matalan. Fit me lovely (they are quite high waisted so can tuck everything in 😉) and good price at about £20. I bought 3 pairs from there 2 years ago and 2 are going strong - still perfect shape, though 1 pair have gone a bit baggy around the knees still for £20 and 2 years very regular wear I think that's pretty good?!

tametempo · 27/05/2016 18:15

Pammie70 do you have a 'larger' belly, if you don't mind me asking? I'm also 5ft 2 and large boobed and although I'm a 14 I usually have to get size 16 to accommodate my huge belly. Not found any great fitting jeans, unfortunately.

beeelaine · 27/05/2016 18:32

I find it hard to get jeans that fit - they usually look like a "a sack of spuds" as my mother would say! im 45 5.3 and half and size 14 but carry my weight on my belly/boobs (e cup)/arms so my legs are not as big compared to rest of my body - i find those jeggings are great and M&S so some really nice ones - always make sure you buy the stretchy type cos they hold your belly in without cutting off your circulation (hee hee) - always try them on in the shop if you are like me, cos otherwise you just end up returning items all the time! I love my jeggings and as long as you are careful with what you team them up with you can look great, i really love them - although if you asked me that 12 months ago i wouldnt have even tried them on saying they were for young girls, but my legs are my best asset. Wallis do a really lovely dark indigo pair but their sizes are big so you might squeeze into a 12 - best to try first! good luck!

Elianna · 27/05/2016 23:12

I love the high waisted skinny jeans from miss Selfridge. They have just the right amount stretch to be comfortable but also hold everything in Blush.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 28/05/2016 06:21

We are the same build - I've worn M&S 5 pocket jeggings for ages .
Just bought a pair of Sainsburys premium skinnies (still only £21) and they are gorgeous.

thisproofseverything · 28/05/2016 07:44

Fat Face straight leg jeans have a lot of room around the waist/tummy. I have a pair so can vouch for them. My 16YO told me I looked really nice in them last week, so they can't be bad.

That said, they are a bit gapey around my waist because I have the opposite problem to you - no tummy but huge bum/hips/thighs. Levi Demi Curve suit my shape.

Ralphie1210 · 28/05/2016 07:52

H&M have some lovely ones. Erm lift and shape style. Not cheap at about £35 but they are nice. They also do some lovely and comfy high waisted skinny jeans for £7.99. My favourite bargain buy x

Robstersgirl · 28/05/2016 09:46

I've recently become a size 14 in jeans and am the same height as you and after 5 kids have a tummy too, I solemnly swear 3 button high waisted jeans are the best. Do not even attempt one button ones they will make your tummy worse. New look ones are the best but Primark also do them. No need to spend more than you need to.

Robstersgirl · 28/05/2016 09:46

All the lift and shape ones make my bum bigger and my muffin top worse.

velocitygir1 · 28/05/2016 09:53

Jane Norman jeans for me-they are the only jeans I've ever found comfy.
Super soft skinny all the way.

BluebellTheDonkey · 28/05/2016 18:01

Pleased I found this thread! Am size 14-16 and find jeans hard to find, I also have chunky thighs so often they are too loose around the waist in order to fit my legs.
Going to try some of your suggestions.

summerdreams · 28/05/2016 18:43

last summer I was a size 14 5ft 6 and bought jeans from absolutely every where Zara, h&m, river island and new look I found a pair of dark high wasted jeans from new look the most flattering they were skinny but not super skinny but I found they made me look smaller rather then bigger as the other jeans did I bought 3 pairs. Smile

summerdreams · 28/05/2016 18:44

They have 3 buttons as well as someone mentioned above!
