It's finally happened to me, a favorite product of mine has been discontinued! What have you lost and have you managed to find a dupe. Mines is;

Chanel lipstick in charme
Soap & glory lipstick in the missing pink

I think I'm going to give MAC fabby a try as it looks similar.

Clinique comforting cream cleanser, was perfect for my oh so sensitive skin.

Now I am using superdrugs sensitive stuff at a fraction of the cost Grin. There may be a bright side....

Nabootique · 13/05/2016 14:18

The Body Shop Rice Bran Scrub. It was so lovely and fine! I think I'd have to look at some sort of face scrub to replicate it, but in my experience you have to pay quite a bit for that kind of fine but very densely distributed granulation! Not to mention it wouldn't be in a lovely big pot. I like their coco butter scrub, but it's not the same.

Every bath bomb I love at Lush gets discontinued.

nSpa Melting Gel Cleanser. I have loads of cleansers, but the Boots Botanics Hydra Burst Cleanser has served as a direct replacement for this. The consistency is a bit firmer and I think I actually prefer it.

Armani Sensi perfume. They do it at the Perfume Parlour, which I am thrilled about. Smells just like it.

Really? I wore this on my wedding day and I was really sad when they discontinued it.

AnneLovesGilbert · 13/05/2016 14:31

Nivea Soothing Cleansing Mousse. My favourite shower cleanser ever, in the whole world. I've found one weird online place to get it but it's disappeared from Boots and Superdrug with no warning. I'd have stockpiled if I'd known!!!!!! Sad

Nabootique · 13/05/2016 16:39

PurpleDaisies Really! It is very inexpensive as well, so if you didn't like it as much (which I really hope you do!) not too much of an investment. It was my signature scent for years Sad

MarvinKMooney · 13/05/2016 16:42

Clinique Gentle Light foundation. They discontinued it, brought it back, and then discontinued it again a couple of years later.

Why??

Gatekeeper · 13/05/2016 16:48

Charles Worthington A.M shower gel- best smell ever
O de lancome before they tweaked the bloody recipe
Outdoor Girl 'Sundown' lipstick

perfumes I loved... Sad
J'ai Ose by Guy Laroche
Métal by Paco rabanne
Amazone by Hermes

Gatekeeper · 13/05/2016 16:53

Rimmel used to do the most wonderful tinted moisturiser in the late 80's/90s- totally non greasy and a very flattering and convincing hint of colour. Bloody lovely.

Body shop also did fab cream eyeshadow in a wand type applicator and ditto lipgloss in a colour like your own lips but better type shade

Diamonddealeroncemore · 13/05/2016 16:54

Espa perfume. It was spicy and I loved it....

notamummy10 · 13/05/2016 16:56

Garnier Shine Be Gone pore minimising toner, the facial wash is still being sold but not the toner. It did help with my oily skin as it created a mattifying effect. LRP does a similar effect but it's over double the price of the Garnier toner, LRP is £8 and Garnier was £3.

GipsyDanger · 13/05/2016 16:56

I remembered another one. It was a filming shower gel by niva or dove (I remember it was green lol) it actually worked

Kennington · 13/05/2016 16:57

Tendre poison perfume by Dior: smelled like tea.
Johnsons ph 5.5 shower gel
Sephora mattifying primer

miaowmix · 13/05/2016 16:57

Clinique Wrappings, just so fresh and pretty (such a weird name though). I think you can still get it but at crazy prices on Ebay.

WhoTheFuckIsSimon · 13/05/2016 17:10

Garnier microdermabrasion pads.

expatinscotland · 13/05/2016 17:15

Barbara Daly eyeshadow (liquid with brush) in Cobweb and Hazel were gorgeous

FaFoutis · 13/05/2016 17:29

Toni&Guy Twist It Curl Balm
It was ages ago and nothing is anywhere near as good on my hair. I could weep for the loss of it.

StickTheDMWhereTheSunDontShine · 13/05/2016 17:36

Clinique comforting creme cleanser for me, too. I tried the redness solutions one that replaced it and it was horrid - left my face feeling dirty and I got blackheads for the first time in over a decade. Then I tried the cleansing milk, on the offchance and it's perfect!

Also tried was an aveeno (I think) Cpld cream cleaner, which was so strongly scented it even made my skin itch as a body wash and and lush ultrabland, which is lovely, about once a month, as a mask, but like washing your face with lard!

I'd already got to the comforting cleanser after 2 decades of trying every other "hypoallergenic" or "gentle" brand there was, which was why I was so miffed.

Teddy1970 · 13/05/2016 17:39

Algemarin bath creme...it was DIVINE, really strong scent that used to waft through the entire house, I loved it. I came across it by accident in Harrod's Summer sale years ago, never seen it since :(

feltcarrot · 13/05/2016 17:48

L'Oocitane Rose 4 Reines range, they now call it Rose et Reines and it is not the same Sad

mupperoon · 13/05/2016 17:48

I loved Wonderlips Booster lip plumper from Molton Brown. Gone. Gone! I really miss it and haven't found a replacement.

Suspect that Dior will discontinue my favourite perfume of all time, Dolce Vita. The shower gel and body lotion have both gone, edt next... Sad
