Love both those patterned skirts- wish we had an H&M near us.

You will look awesome in the new glasses Flo- and maybe the skirt will go in the sale and you can have both!

Floisme · 07/06/2016 19:46

Thanks Tanaqui!
I may rope you into helping me choose frames though I warn you it'll be a long haul. Think Remus's sundress x a squillion.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2016 19:52

Oooh - I forgot to mention that I might have found a possible sundress! Have discovered a local-ish Sainsbo's that does clothes. Now need to go and check it out. Red dress

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2016 19:55

I also like this top but I may be having a moment, & it could actually be hideous.

EnidButton · 07/06/2016 19:59

I like the dress Remus but oh that top...are you sure you weren't just lured in by the colour?

RalphSteadmansEye · 07/06/2016 20:00

I like that top, Remus.

I just bought the pleated, full red skirt from Sainsbos (similar to the Marks orange one) in the sale at £15. Was just wondering if I could wear it with a yellow top. Maybe, but not that one!

The red sundress is nice irl, but they have a nicer one in yellow. It's pricier, though, at 35 quid.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2016 20:01

Yellow, lace, stripes possibly too much. But it would have looked lovely on me as a size nothing 17 year old with a flat chest! Grin

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2016 20:02

Tbh at those prices, I could have both red and yellow dresses if I like them. :) Especially if I stop thinking about the crazy top!

RalphSteadmansEye · 07/06/2016 20:07

Hope the store you've found is a big one. You'll be spoilt for choice. And the sales are always good.

I have a cashmere boyfriend cardigan which cost me 9 quid!

Tanaqui · 07/06/2016 20:19

You are making me sad- don't have a sainsbos with clothes either- and apparently I live in the greater London metropolitan area now!

Floisme, choosing glasses is evil- can you wear contacts to do it so you can see? Or take lots of pics from different angles. Tbf, I am so short sighted there are usually only a couple of frames that will fit my face and my mega lenses so that makes it easier!

Floisme · 07/06/2016 20:21

I like the dress but agree with Ralph that the yellow one is even nicer if you suit it - assume that's a yes as you're eyeing up a yellow top!

Think I'll have to abstain on the top. I'd need to see it on.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/06/2016 20:25

The store is enormous. Grin

It depends on what shade of yellow things are irl - can be good or dreadful.

Re glasses, I have a ridiculously small head and have to buy my frames in the teenage or children's sections. I try to avoid the Spongebob ones etc!

Floisme · 07/06/2016 20:26

Tanaqui I have some very old contacts that I kept just for when choosing specs. But last time, I couldn't get them out - the optician had to help me so this time I may have to make do with photos and roping in everyone I can. Plus I have a very nice optician who lets me take frames away to try out at home (mind you I'm a very good customer!)

I actually love choosing new glasses. I always get really excited and think they're going to change my life although they never do!

deutschland83 · 07/06/2016 21:27

Both banana republic dresses turned up today and both are keepers!!!

Navy lined cotton one looks like it will be great in the sun and i can wear a skin coloured bra under it with no obvious bra show.

Flowery one is just gorgeous for £60 with the code I had.

Now off to find some soft Blazers to wear with them and flat, comfortable shoes......

JackandDiane · 07/06/2016 21:47

soft blazers = uniqlo

Thank you Jack. Uniqlo order done Grin

taybert · 07/06/2016 22:06

I was about to post that! Ah well. Comfy shoes= couple of Greggs steak bakes.

JackandDiane · 07/06/2016 22:27

I KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE TAYBERT

AmberNectarine · 07/06/2016 22:48

I'm thinking I might get these.

SayAGreatBigThankyou · 07/06/2016 22:51

LOVE the silver supergas.

Just bought the sainsbo's dress - fear it is the wrong red, but worth a shot.
I have also bought skater shoes.

CointreauVersial · 07/06/2016 23:13

Gorgeous sandals, Amber, really love those.

Sainsbo's broderie - recommend you size up - there's no stretch.

Flo - I just bought new glasses (£££). My primary objective is that no-one notices I've actually changed them, so they're nigh on identical to my old ones.

taybert · 08/06/2016 07:03

Jack do you intend to scour the North of England searching for a short arse in a ruched skirt to beat to death with her own Birkenstocks? Will there be a series of murders as innocent Boden wearing women get caught in the crossfire? I'm not even entirely sure why I've involved myself in the baked goods shoe debacle. I am not known for a comfortable shoe. The looming no heels wedding continues to give me palpitations. It would be a shame to die for a cause I don't even really believe in. Ah well, you win some you lose some.

Floisme · 08/06/2016 07:08

Oh I'm the opposite Cointreau I'm always pissed off if no-one notices Grin What kind did you get? I can't decide whether to go for cats eye again. I love the shape and it makes me feel like Sophia Loren but is it time to move on...?

Lovely shoes, Amber but I wouldn't even get down the stairs in them. I'm in Say's camp.

wiltingfast · 08/06/2016 08:30

love 'em, own a similar pair Grin

Dancergirl · 08/06/2016 09:17

I really wanted there in grey but they are sold out: Sad
