Anyone found any great foundations recently?

I've finished a bottle of Lancome Photogenic, which I really liked. I've used Chanel Vitalumiere before which I also really liked (using the Aqua version as a tinted moisturiser for daily use right now).

Anyone tried anything recently they have LOVED? Preferably available at John Lewis as I'm heading there on Monday.

I've never tried Bobbi Brown stuff but like their other items generally.

Chanel Les Beiges

Fab stuff

ICanSeeForMiles · 16/04/2016 16:25

Not a liquid, but Laura Geller baked foundation. It's amazing. Unfortunately not available at JL but can be found at some Debenhams. Or Qvc if you wanted to try with the option of returning if you don't like it.

The L'Oréal Infallible one in the squeezy tube. It's matte but actually doesn't look cakey. Looks lovely on, and lasts for hours.

Max factor miracle illusion, favourite to date and I've tried EVERYTHING!

DarkBlueEyes · 16/04/2016 19:18

Thanks ladies will check them all out!

Face Atelier

It's the one. The. One.

AgathaMystery · 16/04/2016 20:51

Charlotte tillbury. Dear god it's brilliant.

OvertheHillandFar · 16/04/2016 20:52

Dior Star

Good coverage, gives a glow and lasts.

I've tried several Bobbi Brown's and non was perfect. Stick foundation is ok but I don't find it gives much coverage. Skin Foundation- ditto. Moisturising- too greasy ( and I have normal skin.) Long Wear- too thick and drying.

Nars pro radiance is lovely

Nabootique · 16/04/2016 22:33

Agree with Chanel Les Beiges. Doubt I'll ever use anything else now!

ChardonnayKnickertonSmythe · 17/04/2016 07:23

YSL Touche Eclat, but I understand it's been ruined changed.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 17/04/2016 07:26

Only a cheapy, but I have been using bourgeois cc cream, I don't really use foundation but this has really brightened my skin.

crayfish · 17/04/2016 07:33

The Urban Decay Naked Skin liquid one. I wasn't too fussed on it at first but I love it now and it's one of the best I have tried, really wide range of colours too.

HollyBollyBooBoo · 17/04/2016 07:45

Face Atelier gets amazing reviews, I just don't know how to colour match when it's an online purchase?

Magicrealism · 17/04/2016 08:29

YSL fusion ink is great.

Jitterybug · 17/04/2016 08:31

I always used to wear Clinique but got recommended Rimmel Wake Me Up. It is amazing, love it.

LumpySpacedPrincess · 17/04/2016 08:40

HollyBollyBooBoo · 17/04/2016 11:03

Thanks Lumpy!

nearlyovertherainbow · 17/04/2016 12:18

YSL youth liberator, serum foundation. It's lovely stuff. Decent coverage, but buildable. A natural dewy finish and is very good for pale faces, like me! Wouldn't recommend for oily skin though.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 17/04/2016 12:21

Tom Ford Traceless Foundation stick. Not cheap but lasts ages.

woody2976 · 17/04/2016 12:25

how much is the chanel one? and what moisturisers do you all use? i had a chat with lady on chanel counter and she said i needed to sort my moisturiser as well as my foundation. i couldn't quite stomach giving her 55 quid for the chanel moisturiser though!!

Cheshireblue · 17/04/2016 14:10

I have tried loads - seriously. I have recently found Chanel Les Beiges and I love it. My search is over!
