They look like the footwear advertised in saga magazine.

I want some gladiators that don't feel like the sole is made of iron and that don't eat my feet alive.

But I can't find any that don't look like something my nana would wear. If I had a nana.

I like the idea of a gladiator granny, kicking ass at the luncheon club.

They do look comfy like old lady gladiators

Have a look on the Jones website, they usually have good styles which are well made

Might I be so bold as to suggest these? Still comfy but not so fugly.

Definitely the sole that ruins them. I know it makes them comfortable, but so many decent looking shoes are spoiled by those moulded soles.

The last ones you suggested are nice but too thin a sole for me (porker). The green ones I suggested also come in tan.

I like those last Clarks ones, but they don't look nearly as comfortable as the others! Perpetual dilemma really.

If you like those ones from Jones have a look at the fit flop site. They have 100's of pairs and are generally considered comfortable.

So what does everyone wear on their feet when they want to be a bit dressier than Birkies?
