So.. I can't sleep and remembered somehow that this was being launched at 11pm.. Next thing I know I am checking out a £250 basket Shock much of which I'm sure will go back as duplicate items in different sizes/ prints etc..

Has anyone else had a look? Tell me if it's actually nice or if I've fallen for the hype of the late night "release"!!

Smugness at getting Betsey t-shirt from Liberty after it was sold out on Uniqlo website short-lived as just got an email there was a stock discrepancy and I'm not getting it after all.

I went to Oxford Street yesterday and it wasn't too crowded, still lots of stock in. I tried on the jegging trousers but they didn't suit me. They were giving away free vouchers at the door but unfortunately I was wearing an appallingly scruffy outfit and they looked straight through me. I bought a flowery down jacket for DM.

I have a Tshirt delivery, feeling a bit unconvinced

I'd ordered the medium. No mention of my hoodie so assume I'm still getting that - although haven't got s shipping email yet. They are still showing as being in stock online though but the tshirts are now all out of stock on the Liberty site.

FYI Liberty don't run a live stock system. I ordered something from them, it was cancelled because it is out of stock and yet it still shows as available on their website weeks later. I don't know why they even bother with online shopping.

Lesson learned - I'll just have to be speedier on the Uniqlo website next time!

I've been caught out by Liberty before like that - it's a pain in the arse.

starlight, if I decide to keep the small, perhaps I'll message you and could send you the medium instead of sending it back to uniqlo?

Thanks faustina - roll on summer to wear t-shirts and summery dresses again!

Solasum · 21/03/2016 22:51

Faustina I bought a tunic. The bottom bit finishes just under my bottom (I am 5'10, and had a small size). Does that help?

Can someone advise on the length of the bra dresses. They look very mini on the model - but she may be 6ft tall.

faustina · 22/03/2016 08:33

Solasum thank you! Very helpful

Solasum · 22/03/2016 14:38

Djangor, just above the knee on me. Certainly not very mini. I will wear it to work in the summer without qualms.

Bought some kids' stuff from Uniqlo today... Nice baby bodies and baby leggings and quite nice girls' t-shirts. And a nice beach bag type thing. But I didn't think it was amazing. And j do love Liberty prints, especially on little girls. (Have ordered some bits from Liberty too so will see what they are like if/when they arrive)

Report
faustina · 22/03/2016 21:23

Hope it comes soon!

I just tried on the leggings and they are MUCH nicer than I thought they'd be! Am def going to keep them. The sizing is quite big if that helps anyone

Eeek my order just arrived! No shipping notifications at all.

Just a warning re: the room shoes. I'm normally a women's L in things like flip flops and slippers if they don't have proper sizes - I'm a 6.5 but with wide feet. Anyway, not sure how I missed it by with the uniqlo/Liberty slippers the L is a whopping UK 9-11. They are absolutely huge! V v pretty though so hoping I can exchange

Hmm.. Didn't realise the t-shirts were only 60% cotton. I love the pattern but it just feels quite thick an polyestery. I haven't bought a 40% modal t-shirt before. Do they feel really prickly in humid heat?

Report
MarvellousCake · 23/03/2016 10:53

Cotton/Modal is usually very soft with nice drape. Not at all polyestery or prickly IME.

Thanks marvellouscake- hope it feels better after a quick wash. I'm definitely keeping it as the pattern is so pretty.

All the little t-shirts I got for DD are super soft and lovely and 100% cotton.

Received my t shirt and tunic dress today, wearing the t shirt.

I adore Liberty so was v. excitied and set my alarm for 11pm! I ordered a t-shirt which was too wide and boxy, and a bra dress which was too short, including the shoulder straps being way too short and not adjustable, so had to send back :(

Just keeping one lovely t-shirt for DD. The kids stuff has the nicer liberty prints on it too.

How long is the shorter bra dress?
I'm 5'8 and wear boden long dresses for work which are just above knee length if that helps?
