I have boots and super drug near me. What do you buy that gets everything off or am I better going premium?

Vaseline - every time

lazybones77 · 18/02/2016 10:15

Baby wipes. Huggies atm.

Boutonneux · 18/02/2016 10:53

No 7 Cleansing oil - amazing stuff, gets everything off and doesn't sting at all. Baby or cleansing wipes make my eyes feel like they're burning, as do most eye make up removers.

Coconut oil is another one I'm recommend, even works on Benefit's They're Real mascara, which anyone who's tried it, knows that's impressive!

maybemyrtle · 18/02/2016 11:20

Simple nourishing eye makeup remover cream. I am not a fan of Simple as a rule but this stuff is fantastic. Use your fingers to rub/smooth it on lids/lashes, watch mascara etc all come off, wipe away with tissue paper. Amazing. This stuff.

toomuchinternets · 18/02/2016 11:29

^ different strokes for different folks. I hate that simple stuff, it makes me bleary eyed blind!

maybemyrtle · 18/02/2016 11:32

Really? How were you using it? I only use a little bit and use my fingers to apply it. I get bleary eyed too with oily stuff but this works for me because it's a cream. As you say, different strokes etc.

LadyPriggsbottom · 18/02/2016 11:38

There's a no7 one which I can't remember the name of though there's some on my bedside table as we speak! It is in a clear bottle with a white cap. It's two tone liquid - blue and clear - much like the Lancôme bi-facil one. It's as good as the Lancôme one IMHO. Great for sensitive eyes.

Whatthefoxgoingon · 18/02/2016 11:45

I get on well with klorane

TheMagicToyshop · 18/02/2016 13:30

I double cleanse now and I am convinced it's the only way to fully get rid of everything. I use boots botanics miscellar water, then rub in coconut oil and remove with a warm flannel.

soontobepenfold · 18/02/2016 13:34

Superdrug cleansing eye makeup remover pads are brilliant I use the ones for sensitive skin in the white pack, 30 pads for under £1 I think

JOEYDOESNTSHAREFOOD · 18/02/2016 13:36

The Nivea shake it one, it's blue and cheat and you shake it to mix before using. It removes even he strongest mascara with No rubbing.

TheSpottedZebra · 18/02/2016 13:37

Garnier purple one. I used to like the Body shop camomile one, but this is better IMHO.

GraceKellysLeftArm · 18/02/2016 13:56

There used to be a boots Botanics one (green and blue layers) which was fantastic. I'm currently using Clinique which stings to buggery but is nearly ready for the bin. I'm planning to go back to coconut oil. I also like Lush's "baby face".

MustBeThin · 18/02/2016 14:11

L'Oréal eye makeup remover, the liquid is blue at the top and clear at the bottom so you shake to mix it together. I started using it as a cheaper alternative to the Lancome one and it works just as good. The plain blue L'Oréal one is rubbish though, I bought it by mistake once.

jellycat1 · 18/02/2016 14:11

Loreal Absolute - not Gentle.

beautyadoration · 18/02/2016 15:33

I use Johnsons Daily Essentials gentle eye makeup remover. It's only around three pounds and it does the job perfectly. I dispense it out onto a cotton pad and press onto my eye area for 10 seconds and then gently wiggle any eye makeup off. I've noticed that my lashes look better since I started using it :-)

Talisin · 18/02/2016 16:05

Boots Essentials Cucumber Eye Makeup Remover Gel Doesn't sting, removes everything, costs £1.50.

fruityb · 18/02/2016 16:09

Use the nivea shake one. It's awesome, takes everything off!

TrickyBiscuits · 18/02/2016 16:11

I just don't think there's anything better for me than miscellar water soaked on to a wet wipe - a recent revelation for me and I feel I've tried everything!

timechoes · 18/02/2016 16:14

Nivea gentle one, it's great, you can even stuff it in your eyes and nothing sore happens!

SlinkyVagabond · 18/02/2016 16:17

Super drug bog standard eye make up remover, with the turquoise top. Simple stings, hate oily cleansers as they make my eyes blur, micellar is meh. This is great.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 18/02/2016 17:46

I never bother with a separate eye makeup remover.

I double cleanse with whatever cleansers I have and that gets it all off.

CointreauVersial · 18/02/2016 18:18

What Taliesin said - Boots Essentials Cucumber EMUR. It's a runny gel, so really easy to use, and cheap as chips.

gleekster · 18/02/2016 18:31

I can't use those mixed ones you shake - they make my eyes sting Sad

I use Nivea Gentle eye make up remover and have never had a problem with it. Gets everything off no problem.

fiorentina · 18/02/2016 18:38

I use the Nivea one or a Waitrose Pure one that's good and cheap!
